What literary or sci〜について
添付ファイル文章の What literary or scientific man does not begin by some originality of conduct! の理解ができないです。 反語に属する感嘆文だと考えているのですが、自信がないです。 文人、もしくは科学者 というものは ある種、斬新な行為から始めない！ (ということがあり得ますか？、いや、あり得ないですよ！) という理解で合ってるのか自信がないです。 解説お願いします

It does not necessarily imply, what is obviously incorrect, that all the work done by scientists has resulted, however unconsciously on their part, from some pressing social need. の英文の訳が以下 のように 「しかし、そう言ったからとて、科学者のする仕事はすべて、科学者自身にとってはいかに無意識であっても、なにかさしせまった社会的要求から生まれたものだというような、明らかにまちがったことを言っているわけではない。」 となっているのですが、特にwhat is obviously incorrectのあたりがどうしてこうなるのかよく意味がわかりません。その部分は挿入節と解説には書いてあったのですが、もっと直訳っぽく 「科学者のする仕事はすべて、科学者自身にとってはいかに無意識であっても、なにかさしせまった社会的要求から生まれたものだということを、明らかに間違っていることなのだが、意味しているわけではない。」というようにしては変でしょうか。

Even artificial objects, which we commonly say are made by man, are only natural objects, shaped and moved by men; and in the sense of creating, that is to say, of causing something to exist which did not exist in some other shape before, man can make nothing whatever. ―Thomas Huxley― 上記の文で、in some other shape とありますが、どういう意味になるのでしょうか？ もし、in any other shape だったら、「他のどのような形においても以前には存在していなかったものを存在させる」と理解しやすいのですが、やっぱりsome が正しいのでしょうか？ 因みに、Longmanの辞典ではcreateはto make something exist that did not exist before となっています。宜しくお願いします。
