Maybe you’ve backed off of your past relationships at the year mark because there’s something about long-term intimacy that frightens you (I mean, it frightens most people), 多分あなたは年表に刻まれた過去の関係から尻込みしてるんじゃ無いかな。あなたを怖がらせる長い間のの親密な関係についてのなにかがあったから(殆どの人がそうだと思う)。 year markはコインなどに刻まれた発行年の表示みたいなもの。ここでは過去に色々な付き合いがあったことを言っているにに単数扱いになっているのであえて年表に刻まれた、つまり過去の年とともに刻まれている記憶や出来事と解釈しました。
