- 英国映画の英語について教えて下さい。日本語字幕、吹き替えともにありますが、当然意訳されています。もう少し直訳するとすればどうなるか、また、文法的にはどういうことになっているのかが知りたいです。

こんにちは。 (1) 「いかがですか」 (2) 「程度」 By the bucketload → 「いくらでもありますよ。」 (3) 二つの文章を細かく切ると逆に意味が不明になってしまいます。 全体として、「今までやったことではなく、いまやっていることが問題なんだ。」 ご参考までに。

It's possible I would have had to trade something for that knowledge." 試訳） 「奴に聞くべきだったな」 「聞いたからって正直に答えたかしらね」 「わからん。何かと交換しなきゃいけなかったかもな」 この「would have had to」は、文法用語では何というのでしょうか？ 未来完了形を過去にずらした用法だと思うので、過去未来完了形…？ でも検索しても英文法ではそういう言い回しはないようです。小説などできわめて頻出する用法ですが、文法的には何というのでしょうか？

Nothingからhimselfまでのことでお尋ねします。 that以下は名詞節（主部）、Nothing was to be doneは述部と理解し、次のように変形、理解しても良いですか。 That he did not do himself was to be done nothing. 直訳：彼がしなかった事は何も為されなかった。 意訳：彼は全てを取り仕切った。 それからto be doneと be done の違いも併せて教えてください。
