英文の分からない箇所の解説をお願いいたします。
１）He added that discussions were still underway with members of Congress on whether to make a public release of the images, and if so how. この文章の最後の"and if so how"というのは、 何を意味するのでしょうか？？ それより以前の意味は理解できるのですが、この最後だけ意味がわかりません。 ２）Boiling topics and heated debates along with objective news reporting and interactive feedback are the attributes that put Aljazeera.net amongst the 50 most visited sites worldwide. 客観的ニュース報道と双方向性の意見に伴う熱い話題や討論は、世界中で最も訪問される50のサイトの中に入っているからなのです。 と訳しましたがうまく訳すことができていません。 attributeはここではどういう意味を持っているのでしょうか。

１）「もしするとすればどうやって」 onが、whether to make a public release of the images と how (how "they should do it"などの省略だと思われます）の両方にかかっているので、「そのimage(映像?)を公開するかどうか、またもしするとすればどうやってするか（の両方）について」まだ議論が続いている、ということだと思います。 ２）「熱い話題や白熱した討論が、客観的なニュース報道や双方向性のあるフィードバックと相まって、アルジャジーラネットを世界で最も訪問される５０のサイトの中に入れる特質となっている。」 くらいではないでしょうか。 attributesは「特質、属性」のような意で、後の関係代名詞thatが引っ張る節によって修飾されている、 また、put Aljazeera.net amongst...の中でAljazeera.net はputの目的語になっていると私はとりました。

if so は「もし make a public release of the images するなら」ということですね。how は「どうやって（make a public release of the images するか）」ということ。 along with は要するに and だと考えればいいのでは。「熱い話題、白熱の討論、それに客観的ニュース報道と双方向の意見、これらによって～」ということでしょう。
