「isn't it」 「 don't you」 「does he」などは、大きく分けて２通りの使い方があります。 (1)語尾を上げて発音する場合 相手に質問・確認したいときに使います。 He doesn't come today, does he ?（↑） ⇒今日、彼は来ないみたいだけど、本当に来ないんだよね？ (2)語尾を下げて発音する場合 単に、相手に「そうだね～。」という同調した返事をもらいたいときに使います。 It's fine today ,isn't it ?（↓） ⇒今日はいい天気だね～。（相手：そうだね～。） 「right ?」は、自分が言っていることが正しいのかどうか、相手に意見を求める時に主に使っていると思います。 You can speak English, right ? ⇒あなたは英語が話せるみたいだけど、本当なんだよね？ He doesn't come today , right ? ⇒彼は今日来ないみたいだけど、本当なんだよね？ 何度も「right ?」を使われると、「なんだか強気な人だなぁ・・・」というイメージを持つかもしれません。 やんわりと会話したいときは、「isn't it?」などを使うか、「You can speak English?」と普通の文の語尾を上げて話してみると良いと思います。

斜め矢印の表示ができないので＼を代わりに使います。 例えば You haven't got a pen,have you(／)?-Yes,here you are. この形だと相手に何かを尋ねたりお願いする意味になるんですよね？ 訳は「ペン持ってる？(貸して？)-あるよ。はい。」 こんな感じですか？ では Tom doesn't look very well today, does he(＼)?-No,he looks very tired. これは トムは調子良くないようだね？そうだね、彼はとても疲れているようだ。 トムは調子よさそうだね？いやとても疲れているようだよ。 どちらになるんでしょうか？ 英語ができる方にお聞きしますm(_ _)m

- 訳し方が分かりません。
「And now he's going to marry her, you see if he doesn't,and ～～～～.」 「 Amanda will do it herself.You see if she doesn't.」という二つの文が、同じ本の中の別々のページに載っているのですが、うまく訳せません。 「you see if he doesn't」「You see if she doesn't.」の部分が、どうも決まった言い回しのようなのですが、どう訳せばいいのでしょうか。 どなたかお分かりの方よろしくお願いします。

１，”あなた、今日は眠いでしょう！？” ２，”これって、変だと思わない？？” 等、こちらが言った内容について、相手の同意、確認 を求める場合は、 最後に、aren't you とか isn't it とか所謂、付加疑問文で表すのあっているのでしょうか？それとも、別の言い方があるのでしょうか？ 因みに、話す場合はアクセントで表現するケースもあるかもしれませんが、書く場合ばどう表現するのが自然なのか知りたいです。

- この文章なのですが
教えてください。 『君がそう思っていたなら別に構わないけど、じゃあなんであんな事いったの？』 と、（このようなちょっと強がってるようなニュアンス）言いたいとき、 I don't care～ It does't especially bother me～ とかじゃ変ですかね …？ あと 何でそんなこといったの？は、 Why did you say about that？ よりも How come you told me about that？ のがいいですか？ シンプルかつ口語的なよい言い方を例文であげてくれませんでしょうかm(_ _)m お願いします。

早速の回答ありがとうございました。 どうも「right?]は少し相手に良い印象を与えない ようですね。 Native でも文尾の「arn't they 」「does it 」など を言い間違えているのによく遭遇します。 まして日本人だと、頭の中で否定？肯定？ 「ｔｈｅｙ」か「ｈｅ」かなどその都度考えないといけないので、 もうときどきパニックになります。 まあ、正道をいくしかないですね。
