- I'm like~、I was like~の使い方
I'm like~、I was like~の使い方を知りたいです。 I'm like~=I think, I was like~=I said

So finally, with what I felt was unusual patience and restraint, I turned to him and said, "..." with what I felt was unusual patience and restraint (2)was の主語は what I felt ですか? (3)with what I felt was unusual patience and restraint

He probably felt like I was stepping on his turf a bit when I joined the show. At times I got the impression he didn't like me for that reason We never had words, but I thought he became a bit of a diva towards the end. But he probably thought the same thing about me too. divaは、オペラ歌手とか、わがままな女性に使われると思うのですが、この場合のdivaは 男性に使われています。

- so off it went
He never intended to become a pops concert conductor. Invited by music director Rudolf to join the conducting staff in 1965, he was put in charge of the new pops concert series. And from there, it just grew. "I felt comfortable, and I guess people thought I was doing a good job, so off it went," he said by telephone from Ottawa.

- Whatever
You can know that you feel a certain way, but to have a doctor tell you 'this is what it is', it can be quite frightening, and I kind of just dismissed it, I was like it's not true, whatever. whatever I was like it's not true, whatever. I was like it's not true, whatever. I was like it's not true, whatever.
