以下、文例は思いついたものの一例で、ベストということではなく、他にもいろいろあります。 >・どのようにして他社と差別化されているのか？ >How to differentiate your company from other companies? これだと、「御社を他社と区別するには？」といった感じに聞こえる可能性があります。 What the strong point do you tell me for your company? >・どのようにして仕事に役立つ情報を収集していますか？ >How to gather useful information for work? これも同様です。how toだと方法といった感じになります。 How do you gather information about for your business? What kind of information network do you have for your profession? >・現在注目している技術はありますか？ >Is there any service you would pay attention? 複数形と進行形がいいように思います。かつ、何かあるはず、という感じで。 You are watching and interested in some items of advandec technology, aren't you? 革新的な技術ということを強調してみてもいいかもしれません。 Could you please tell me where you are attracted about technological revolutions? >・bootstrapなどのオープンソースは使われているのでしょうか？ >Would you use Open Source like bootstrap? Would youだと、今後使う、あるいは、used toと同じ用法と受け取れば、過去には使う習慣があった、と聞こえてしまう可能性があります。Do youでいいでしょう。オープンソースというシステムではなく、それで構成した開発ソフトを使うと明示した方がいいかもしれません。 Do you use open-source development tools like Bootstrap? >・もしあなたがこの会社の社長だったら、あなたは次にどんな方針を打ち出されますか？ >If you were CEO of this company, what would you do next? いいと思います。方針といったことは明確にしないほうが、相手が答えやすそうです。

お礼、ありがとうございます。#1です。 他の回答者様の良回答へのお礼を拝読すると、丁寧さというところも大事だったんですね。そこを少し補足してみます。 まずyes/noクエスチョンの場合、、丁寧ならpleaseをつけます。このとき、Do youだけは相性がよくありません。Will you/Can youはOKですが、同等の立場か親しい間柄でないと使いにくい。 そこで過去形にします。Could you/Would youですが、差異を感じない人も多いとはいえ、おおむねCould youが安全なようです。これにオプションとしてpleaseを付加してもいいです。 What, Howで始めるのはオープンクエスチョンと呼ばれ、相手が答え方が自由なかわり、それが相手への負担となります。言葉を変えれば、こちらが質問を充分に練っていないという印象がする場合があります。いきなりは使わず、yes/noクエスチョンで話題を振ってからがいいでしょう。 これらを合わせて一度で済ますには、以下のような聞き方が安全なものとして使えます。Do youで聞かざるを得ない場合でも使えます。～部分にcould/wouldを使えれば、より丁寧になります。 Could you tell me what/how you (would/could) ～? さらに疑問文にしない聞き方もあります。純粋に頼む言い方にします。 I was wondering if [平叙文：those are ..., etc]. ↓特に以下はいろいろなパターンで使いやすい I was wondering if you could (possibly) tell me what/how you (would/could)～ (please)? カッコ内はオプションとして丁寧さを上げる表現です。いつも使うと、かえって馬鹿丁寧な感じ、慇懃無礼な感じとなる恐れがあり、最初だけ、あるいは相手が答え難そうなことに限定したほうが無難です。

[planとvisionは具体性とカバーする範囲の違いで] >> また英語の丁寧語はどの程度親しくなれば使わなくても良くなるのでしょうか？ 他の方が書かれているように、Would you explain (tell)などを文頭に入れると丁寧になります。ただ、全体で1つの文章に含まれるならCould you tell me following questions?などと最初に断れば良いように思います。 一般にレターや相手のポジションが高いとかなり丁寧でredundantと思えるほど丁寧に書かれますが、電子メールならそこまで丁寧にされないです。 would と couldは同じ程度ですが、wouldの方が少し丁寧感があってレターでの使用が多く、couldは電子メールで多いように思います。will はある意味shouldに近い（命令的な）のでビジネスでは使わないと思います。canはある程度親しくなってから、もしくはフレンドリーが許される関係でかつ電子メールのみで使われています。

ご回答ありがとうございます。 couldが電子メールに多く使われ、wouldがレターでの仕様が多いというのは初耳でした！ やはりいきなりcanやDoを使うのは失礼に当たるのですね、咄嗟で出てしまいそうですが気をつけます。

海外取引先から下記メールを頂きました。経緯としましては、輸入した製品に毒物が入っていて当社は毒物取扱業者の指定を受けていないので、re-stock費用を出して返送する事になりました。 送料・返送料ともに弊社が負担する事を配送業者にも伝えました。しかし取引先から下記の様なメールが来ました。 I am resending the message below which I sent to you on April 20 regarding the shipping charges which your company refused to pay and were charged back to us by FedEx. for shipping PO # 1234-5678for Refractive Index Liquid Series H (Hazardous Materials), to your company on 1/21/09. The goods were shipped collect on your FedEx account # 1234-5678-9 and therefore there is no reason for your company to refuse to pay the charges. I also mentioned in my previous e-mail below that if returning the goods, your company was responsible for all shipping costs including any additional charges and fees associated with shipping Hazaradous Materials. Although it was clearly communicated, we were subsequently contacted by FedEx, stating that your company wanted to return the goods collect on our FedEx account and FedEx was seeking our permission to do so, which we did not agree to. Please advise as to how you would like to remit payment for these charges in the amount of $157.65 as shown on the attached FedEx Invoice. 英語で、落し物の館内アナウンスを英語でしたいのですが、どなたか教えて下さい。 日本語では、次の通りです。 「ご来場のお客様に、落し物のお知らせをいたします。○○をお預かりしています。お心当たりの方は、１Fインフォメーションまでお越しください。」 英語にすると、例えばこんな感じは如何でしょう。 "May I have your attention, please ? We've found ○○.
