洋楽の歌詞や外国人の日常会話のなかに We was～や They was～などという文章をよく見かけますがweやtheyなどの複数形にはwereを使うと習いました。英語科の先生に聞きましたが「よくわからない」と言っていました。ネイティブ独特の表現なのかそれとも文法として存在するのか…教えてください。

英語の「仮定法」（もし～ならば～なのになあ、etc）についての質問です。 仮定法過去で、主語がIやHe、Sheなどの三人称単数だったとき、 普通の過去形とかでは「was」なのに、仮定法では「were」を使うのは何故なんでしょうか。 ちょっと不思議に思ったので…。どなたか教えてくださると助かります。 よろしくお願いします
