なるべくプライドを傷つけないように回答をしているのですが・・・・・ 目には目を持って回答させていただきます。 ＞今まで（今より）重要・密接だったことはない， すなわち，今，および今後が最も重要・密接だｔ比較級 more ～があって，than がありませんが， 「今より」です が『間違いの元なのです。』 文章の内容が今までのアジア太平洋地区のありかたとこれからの関わり方を示しているが故に、文脈からして ”＞今まで(今より）重要・密接だったことなない” と言はえるが、moreの後の"than today" or "than it is today"のような時間の比較構文の省略と考えたり、moreが「”今より”重要・機密だったことはない」と時を示した訳はできない。 何故なら、 moreは副詞として形容詞や副詞の前に置き”より大きな程度を示す”時に使う。thanに繫がる比較構文となることが多いがthanを取る必要もない。添付辞書が示す例題です。 She couldn't be more beautiful. Let's find a more sensible way of doing it. 授業でDriving is more difficult [because of・in Japan・in the United States・on・than・the hevy traffic・narrow streets]. 日本では狭い道路に交通が激しいため、自動車の運転はアメリカより難しい。 括弧内を並べ替えよという問題がありました。 正解はDriving is more difficult in Japan than in the United states because of the hevy traffic on narrow streets.ですが、 比較の対象を文末に置いた Driving is more difficult in Japan because of the heavy traffic on narrow streets than in United states. この文は文法的に間違いでしょうか？ 正解の方が、読みやすい文だとは思いますが、解説お願いいたします。
