間違ってます。 「she felt bad about it.」は「彼女はそれに対して悪い（いやな）感じがした。」という意味です。 ですから全体は、 「彼女が言ったことは、（要するに）彼女はそれに対して悪い（いやな）感じがした、ということだ。」 でしょう。 「it」（それ）が何を指すかは、この文章からは不明ですが。

[2] (That / What) she said so surprised me. という問題があったのですが、 答えは、[1] what [2] that でした。 しかし、僕はどうしてこのような答えになるのかが分かりません。 僕の考えでは、『what = ～したこと、～したもの』 という意味なので、両方とも答えがwhatでも 訳としては、何もおかしくないと思います。 [1]の訳は、彼女が言ったことは、本当だ。 [2]の訳も、彼女がそのように言ったことは、私を驚かした。 と訳もよく似ています。 どうして、答えがあのようになるのかどなたか教えてください。
