日本国憲法第21条第1項の英文に関して疑問があります。 Freedom of assembly and association as well as speech, press and all other forms of expression are guaranteed. （集会、結社及び言論、出版その他一切の表現の自由は、これを保障する。） この英文の骨格は次のようになると思います。 Freedom of A as well as B are guaranteed. A=assembly and association B=speech, press and all other forms of expression そうすると、主語が「Freedom of A as well as B」という単数ですから、述語動詞は「is」であるはずなのに、なぜか「are」となっています。ということは、主語は単数ではなく複数なのでしょうか。どう解釈すれば複数になるのですか。 某所で質問したところ、 Freedom of A as well as （freedom of） B are guaranteed. と考えれば良いのではと教えて頂いたのですが、仮にこのように解釈したとしても、述語動詞の人称・数は「Freedom of A」に一致しますから、やはり「is」となるはずなのです。困りました。

回答有難うございます。 本当にうれしいです。 ただ英文の気になるところがあるので教えてください。 (1)Creator の形容詞をpure holy spiritual ３個付けていますが、３個このような形で付けても良いのでしょうか。really の位置は動詞の前で、reallyの使い方として正しいのでしょうか。 (2)Universe宇宙に inside という用語を使って in よりも適切でしょうか。 全体として意味は置いといて、自然な英文として通じるでしょうか。 引き続いてよろしくお願いします。
