sensory divisionの説明文の和訳

sensory divisionは主に5つのタイプの受容器があるみたいなのですが、その説明文が上手く訳せない部分があったので、どうか教えてください。 機械受容器の説明 respound to mechanical forces such as pressure , touch ,vibrations ,strech 光受容器の説明 respound to electromagnetic radiation(light) to allow vision 科学受容体の説明 respound to chemical stimuli ,such as from foods ,odors ,or changes in blood or tissue concentrations of substances such as oxygen ,carbon dioxide ,glocose ,and electrolytes あとsensory divisionって、知覚の分裂、という訳でいいのでしょうか?

Anxiety is a normal emotion that all people experience to some extent. Indeed, anxiety is generally seen as an essential part of the adaptive response to stressful or threatening stimuli. An appropriate amount of anxiety heightens caution and awareness in potentially dangerous or stressful situations, and so constitutes part of the "fight or flight" response. The feeling manifested in this anxious state is somewhat difficult to define, but may be described as a sense of unpleasant anticipation and excessive mental tension. Most people accept occasional anxiety as an integral part of normal life, but a significant number of individuals experience anxiety that is chronic, uncontrollable, and comletely out of proportion to the generating stimulus. In such individuals, anxiety has ceased to serve an adaptive purpose; it has become pathological, or, in other words, an anxiety disorder.

この文を訳していただけないでしょうか? よろしくお願いします! Scientists believe that companies should work to cut greenhouse gas emissions by using other energy sources, such as wind, solar or waterpower. These types of fuel are less damaging to the environment. You might have heard about the measures that we all can take to save energy and cut carbon dioxide in the air. But national and international energy laws are also key. As we have seen, millions of plant and animal species may have already been affected by global warming. The time to act is now.
