例えば There is no point in doing No one can tell There is no doing go so far as to do などこういう表現って本当にネイティブが使っているのだろうかと想像しにくいです。（僕は喋ったことはないですが）。文語でさえあまり使いそうにないなという表現はありますか？

英語をやり直しているものです。 Which dog is hers? That big dog is. という文の、「That big dog is.」について教えてください。 訳では「どの犬が彼女のですか？ーあの大きい犬です。」となっています。 It is that big dog. と同じように使うのですか？ この場合のisはなんと訳すのでしょうか？ It is that big dog. と言わないで That big dog is.とする理由は何かあるのでしょうか。
