よい週末になるように願ってください。 （よい週末ってのは）エロいことの意味じゃなくて、ただ心が落ち着くようにって意味だよ。 って書いてあります。 もう不倫やめようっていう意味だと思います。

He needs to shine out or he is not good enough for you. Unless you can have your mate or ideal partner, you tend to sacrifice happiness, or prefer a life of freedom and inwardly reconcile yourself to spinsterhood. This is preferable to you, to being tied to someone in a marriage that is less than love; or who is not him.. Having tasted paradise, nothing else is good enough.

二つほど疑問があります。お答えいただけないでしょうか。 １：『君の知ったことじゃない』という文章を英語にしなさい、という問題で、It is none of your( ).という条件文が与えられた場合、この解答はbusinessでいいですよね？ しかし、この問題（四択です）の選択肢は、businessのほかにaffairというものもあり、正解は解答集を見るとbusinessでOKなのですが、辞書をみると、None of your affair(s)や、Mind your own affair(s)など、businessとまったく同じ表現で「君には関係ない」や「余計なお世話だ」などと、これまたNone of your business/Mind your own businessなどと同じ訳が当てはまることがわかりました。 それでは、この問題の（ ）内の解答は、affairも正解、ということになるのではないでしょうか。解答集の解説には、これに関して一切の記述はありません。 ２：the + 形容詞で、「～な人々」とあらわすことが出来ます。たとえば、the rich→金持ちな人々 the young→若者 などというふうに。 では、比較最上級の英文で、「彼は世界で一番裕福な人物のうちの一人だ」という文を英訳する場合、 He is one of the richest in the world.は正解でいいのでしょうか。 理屈上、OKだと思うのですが、高校英語の文法書には、「もっとも～なうちの一つ」という表現をする際は、“one of the 最上級＋複数名詞”と記載されています。上記の英文では、この文法に当てはまらず、不正解ということになると思うのですが…。 最近英語を改めて学習していますが、分かっていたつもりでわかっていなかったり、aやtheなど基本的な冠詞一つで新たな発見があったり、と苦戦しています。 言語はいくら追求してもしたりないですね。 上記2点についてお答えいただければ幸いです。

英文解釈の参考書に It is not a question of what you can do but of when you can do it. (君に何ができるかではなく、それができる時期が問題だ。) とありました。 私は、 It is a question of what you can do but of when you can do it. という英文を作ると、上述の和訳の意味になるような気がしてしまうのです。なぜ、最初に書いた英文が、その直後の和訳になるのでしょうか？
