アルバイト(part-time job)のことを、workということはできますか。
「アルバイトから帰ると…」とか「翌日もアルバイトに…」 など、同じ文章の中で何回かアルバイトという単語を訳したいのですが その度にpart-time job と書くのはあまり美しくない気がするので、work と訳せないかな？と思ったのですが、、、 どうでしょうか。 １回目だけpart-time job と訳して、それ以降をwork と訳したら ニュアンスが変わってしまいますか？ それと、part-time job には my をつけるのとつけないのでは 違いがありますか？(got home from my part-time job)←my はなくてもいいのか…？？

「アルバイト」は厳密には「part-time job」ですが、たいていは「job」だけで済ませます。「その度にpart-time job と書くのはあまり美しくない気がする」のが問題ならば、「my job」（myを付けるのが一般的）にすればいいでしょう。 ちなみに、こういう場合の「work」は、やはり、「仕事」です。日本語で「アルバイトから帰ると…」を「仕事から帰ると…」と言い換えるのと同じ感覚です。例えば中高年が、たまたま雇用形態がアルバイト扱いでも「仕事(work)」と言うことはよくありますが、学生アルバイトが「仕事(work)」と言うのは、ちょっと不自然なような気がします。
