come on the heelはどういう意味でしょうか？ SMFG's move comes on the heels of poor fiscal first-half earnings at all of the major Japanese banks due to a sharp rise in bad loans as well as announcements of plans to drum up capital. SMFGの動向は、資本の増強の発表と同様に、日本の全大手銀行が不良債権の急増により上半期の営業利益が悪かったことによる。 という意味になると思いました。これは、SMFGの資本増強の話なので、 SMFG'ｓ moveが、資本増強のことだと思うのですが、 そうすると、この文章、つじつまがあわなくなります。 どなたかご説明いただけますか？

(日本のメガバンクは、最近の自社株式などの株価の下落による、 今後の惨事を防ぐため資金力の増加を計画している。) SMFG faces the risk of its capital-to-asset ratio falling sharply. At the end of June, the ratio was 10.35 percent. （ＳＭＦＧは資本と自己資金の悪化に直面するであろう。六月末の比率は１０．３５であったのに、現在はそれを下回っている。） SMFG is mulling a maximum 500-billion-yen increase for it’s capital. (従ってＳＭＦＧは最大５０００億円の増資を考えている。) 普通なら株価が下がり、損失を計上した場合、増資なんか考えられないことですがやらざるを得ない・・・と言うことだと思います。 ご参考まで。
