非常に初歩的な質問ですが、water power source＝水力源（水力発電？） とelectric power source＝電力、電源？と解釈してよいのでしょうか。 以下のような文章で用いられています。 【英文】Often unreliable water and electric power sources can wreak havoc with production schedules. 【訳】信頼できない(4)water power source（水力発電？）と electric power source（電源？）はしばしば生産スケジュールに 対して大損害を与える可能性がある。

こんにちは、 ＞water and electric power sources これは、water source and electric power sources と二度繰り返さずに、 water and electric power sourcesと書いたものです。 なので、water source水源、electric power source電源で問題ありません。 「しばしば、当てにならない水源や、電源は、生産計画をめちゃくちゃにする」 wreak havoc with production schedulesについては、 http://eow.alc.co.jp/wreak%20havoc/UTF-8/ を参照して、「めちゃくちゃにする」にしておきました。 ご参考までに

Our main factory in Nairobi can being processing the order on the 10th but the one in Phnom Penh is busy with several other smaller orders. 「電線」をテーマに英語の文章を書いたところ、オーストラリア人の方が添削してくださいました。 私は文章中、電線を electric wires と書いていたのですが、この豪人の添削では "electric" wires とそのままになっていたり、"electrical" wires と添削したり混合がみられます。 そして、最後の方で、以下のメッセージが書き添えてありました。 Sorry, I think here and elsewhere it should read "electrical" wires. これは何と言っているのでしょうか？ ここまで書かれていた文章全般的に、 "electrical" wires とするのが正解だった、ということでしょうか？ つまり、今までの添削で"electric" wires としたところもあったが、全部 "electrical" wires とすべきです、ということでしょうか。 ちなみにこの豪人は、オーストラリア英語では電線は "telegraph wires"と言う、と注釈してくださった上で、添削してくださいました。 どうぞよろしくお願いします。
