否定形だから、です。 notの場合はanyを使います。 haven't＝not（否定形） と、英会話のレッスンで教わりました。

can't be any worse thanの意味 こんにちは。 比較の文を習ったのですが、今いち使い方、意味がわかりません。 can't be any worse than The food is Moscow can't be any worse than England. anything like as=much less I used to do a lot more overtime so actually that isn't anything like as much. as good as=a bit more than It's easily as good as your last job and you have plently of experience in planning and organising. この３つの使いかたと訳が混乱してしまってイマイチわからないので説明をお願いします＞＜

【問題】 I haven't read [ ____?____ ] so far but it seems like a good read. (A) much of the book (B) much book (C) many books (D) many of the books 意味：「今までのところその本をあまり読んでいないが、良い本のようだ」 解説書には、(B)はmuchは数えられないものに対して使用するので、bookは可算名詞だから文法的に不可。 また、（C）、（D）は文法的に可能だが、but以下で、it/a good readというように単数扱いしているので、 これも不可。したがって、bookを個数としてを考えるのではなくて、「どの程度読んだか」の意味で考えると 文意に沿うので、正解は（A）である。。。と書いてあります。 しかしながら、（A）ではbookを集合名詞として考えて単数扱いをしているので、解説で最初に（B）を外す理由が 可算名詞で単数系にならないから不可、というのは成り立たなくなってしまうと思います。 実際に（B）では単数系を使っているので。 それともこれは、ただ単に（B）では形容詞muchの後ろにtheがないので、bookが一般名詞になって文章的に 意味がおかしくなるという解釈でも良いのでしょうか？ ちょっと強引すぎる考え方のような気もしますが・・・ どなたかご教授いただければ幸いです。
