No.2 ohboy729 です。確かに現在の自分からすると「馬が増えた」事は既知、既成事実なので would(ーだろう）という「推測的な未来 」は引っかかるということだと思います。僕の乏しい説明力で理解してもらえるか甚だ疑わしいのですが。wouldには「将来的にーなるところの」「現在ではーになる」という確定事実に繋げる意味もあると思います。「ーだろう」では確かに混乱しますね。済みません。 Edison invented a phonograph which would now be a stereo set . （エジソンは今ではステレオになるところの蓄音器という物を発明した。） この文でエジソンの蓄音器が現在ではステレオになっているのは既成事実として既知です。 「ーなるだろう」は自分がその時代にワープした考え方でそれはそれで正しい推察ののだろうと思うのですが前回書いたように窮屈です。「後の世ではーになるところの」という意味で捉えるといいと思います。 ここから先は読まない方がいいのかもしれませんがついでにかきました。 I wrote the following sentence first which now would be the last . （私は今では最後のなってしまうところの次の文を最初に書いたのです。） 例えば例が悪いかもしれないですが「侵略者が馬を持ち込んだ」という時点に全知全能の神がいたとしたら その時点では「These horses will multiply・・and I already know they would 」（これらの馬は数を増やすだろうし、また先の世では増えたことも知っている）という感じで確定しているというニュアンスでしょうか。 「ーなるだろう」は自分がその時代にワープした考え方でそれはそれで正しい推察ののだろうと思うのですが前回書いたように窮屈です。「後の世ではーになるところの」という意味で捉えるといいと思います。
