こんばんは。 実は私も質問者さんの英訳をチェックするに当たって、座頭市が侍であったかどうかを調べたのですが、この話は江戸時代に実在した越後長岡藩主牧野家のご落胤であった阿部常衛門（通称：佐渡市）というれっきとした武家の出身の人間の一生を、作家の子母沢寛が脚色して小説にしたものです。 もちろん映画の中の座頭市は按摩師であって渡世人ではありますが、武家の出であることから侍と表現してもおかしくないと思います。 もし、その辺で相手の方に誤解を与えるようでしたら、「座頭市は武士の家に生まれた侍ではあるが、眼病を患い盲目になってからは、渡世人として、また按摩師として生活した。」という内容を盛り込んだ方がよいかと思います。

Buscemi: It never is! というやりとりがあるのですが、ここのお母さんの「this isn't about you」がどういうニュアンスで言われているセリフなのか、いまいちよくつかめません。 ジェーンは、両親がマーシャのことばかり心配するのが気に入らなかったのでしょうか？ ここのお母さんのセリフは「今はあなたの話をしているんじゃないのよ」という感じなのでしょうか・・・？ 過去の質問で「This isn't about you.というのは、《あなたに問題があると言っているのではない》という意味で使われる表現」という回答がついていたものがあったのですが、今回の場面だとなにかしっくりきません。 ここのシーンのブシェミがとても可愛いので、ぜひとも真意を知りたいです。

Then I exercised for about 1 hour. You spelled hour hore which isn't a word but sounds like whore (here the w is silent). Whore is not a good word. Look it up and you'll be surprised. It's kind of a funny mistake. Your English is alright though. Try to link your sentences more with words like so, and, but etc., and it will sound more natural. お願いします。
