Hi, my apologies for not speak japanese. My name is Mauricio Hiroshi Kubo, I'm from Brazil. My ancestors were japanese from Hiroshima-ken, Hiroshima-shi 久保 Family. My great grandfather ( 久保 友一) came to Brasil in 1913, great grandmother 久保 フシヨ. They came in Wakasa - Maru Ship, leaving Kobe in 3/30/1913 arriving in Brasil in 5/15/1913. 久保 友一 father's, his name is GOZO KUBO. I'm looking for some information about the KAMON of Kubo Family from Hiroshima. Any help is much appreciated! I have koseki documents and some letters. Thanks in advance!

I was a victim of office bullying for years. An older woman felt the need to always comment about my hair (if it was still damp, I got to hear about it) and makeup (how I didn't wear enough of it), sometimes even in front of other employees. She took turns talking negatively about each employee. It was draining, as I was stuck in the office with her. (I had nowhere to run for years.) Others wouldn't even stick up for me or themselves; they would end up just leaving the company. またまた3月10・11日放送分のNHKラジオ講座「ビジネス英会話」のビニェットですが、先回と同じConnieの発言に次のようなものがあります。 >He doesn't seem to understand that my time is limited and when he uses my time, he incurs costs for our company. この中のincurの用法ですが、どうも引っかかります。 テキストの訳文から察すると（この訳じたいが、ちょっと疑問なところがべつにあるんですが、それはさておき）、heではなく、our companyがcostsをこうむるという意味で使っているようなのですが、英語の辞書にはincurにはcause damage toの意味が見当たらないようです。 こうした用法はあるのでしょうか。 ほな。

NHK実践ビジネス英語2017年6月号Lesson 6(3)のGraceさんの台詞で、次の所有格付き動名詞句が出てきますが、この”For all”が分かりませんでした。 ” For all my carping about the way we cling to paper” 「私たちが紙にこだわっている状況に、私は文句を言いながらも」 最初は”For / all my carping“かなと思いましたが、辞書では、「for all…にもかかわらず」(in spite of）cf. with all [譲歩]「…がありながら、…にもかかわらず」よりも文語的とありました。 テキスト訳では「文句を言いながらも」ですから、「文句を言っているにもかかわらず」という意味に通じますね。Web検索でも確かに”「for all …にもかかわらず」が出てきます。 ここで質問ですが、”for all”は、”for all of us”や”for all concerned”など、「全ての人・事柄にとって」という意味での使われ方が普通だと思いますが、”For all my carping about the way”という用法も、英語では同じ意味でしょうか？日本語にするから、「全ての人・事柄にとって」と訳す場合もあれば、「…にもかかわらず」という訳す場合もあるというだけなんでしょうか？ Grace: True.
