次の文章構成を教えてください。
心理学の英文を読んでいて、次の文章をどう訳したらいいのか、文がどこできれているのかが分かりません。 教えてください The impact of rape and other types of sexual violence on the victim's emotional and physical health appears to be great. 主語はhealthまでですよね？ on the victim's emotional and physical がどこにかかるのかわかりません。

【訳１】レイプなどの性的暴行行為が被害者の心身の健康に与える影響はかなりのものであるだろう 【訳２】レイプなどの性的暴行が被害者のこころに与える傷は決して小さくはないであろう 直訳に近く訳すと(1)のようになります。もう少し意訳すれば(2)のようになります 主語がわからないときは動詞を探すことです。 appearが動詞なのでその前までが主語です。 厳密に言えばThe impactが主語でその主語を of rape and other types of sexual violence と on the victim's emotional and physical health の二つの修飾句がThe impactを修飾しているのです。 The impact appears to be great 「衝撃はかなりのようである」が文章の骨格で どのような衝撃であるのかを二つの修飾句が説明 しているととらえるのが良いでしょう。 レイプなどの衝撃、被害者に与える衝撃 この二つをうまく日本語にすれば良いのでは ないでしょうか？ (2)の方の訳ですが、レイプの傷は外傷と内面的な ものに分かれるので、本文では内面のことを言って いるので、こころの傷と意訳しました。 greatの訳ですが、大きい＝小さくないととらえると かなり訳の幅が広がってきますよ。

The relationship between passive violence and physical violence is the same as the relationship between gasoline and fire. Passive violence fuels the fire of physical violence, which means if we want to put out the fire of physical violence we have to cut off the fuel supply. The fuel supply is us. The very spaciousness of the American continent has given rise to what is called the frontier spirit, which was originally a challenge to the natural regors of an uncultivated terrain, seems to overlook the existence of other peoples. 英英辞書で「pageboy」という言葉を調べたら、こういう風に出てきました。 「 a style of cutting woman's hair in which the hair is cut fairly short and has its ends turned under 」 というような説明がありました。 最初の文は、 「女性のヘアスタイルの（種類の）中で、けっこう短い髪の髪型のことで」 という意味なのはわかりましたが、それ以降のandより後ろの文章について、どこが主語でどれが述語で、前の文章とどうつながっているのがイマイチわからず、意味がわかりません。 この文章の文法的なことを教えてください。お願いします。
