Why can't 'things that happen' be replaced with 'what happen' or 'the things which happen'?
- I need help understanding why 'things that happen' cannot be replaced with 'what happen' or 'the things which happen'.
- I'm confused about the grammar in the sentence 'things that happen'. Can someone explain why 'what' and 'that' are not consistent?

日記をつけてる内容の話です。 Anything and everything.I mention the weather,what I feel like doing,things that happen at home,and so on. 上記の英文で,things that happen をwhat happenやthe things which happenに置き換えられないのでしょうか？what I feel like doing,things のwhatと,things that happenのthatは関係代名詞だと思うのですが、どちらともwhatかthatにそろえてかかれてないのはなぜでしょうか？ 根本的に誤った文法の理解をしているのか、よくわかりません。 誰か教えて下さい。よろしくお願いします。

..., what I feel like doing, what happens at home , and so on. のようにですか？書き換えた文でわかるように、whatの場合は単数ですので、もとの「家で起こる諸々のこと」の意味合いが出ません。 それから、英語では（日本語でも同じかと思いますが）、同じ言葉を繰り返すのは美しくないとされています。同じことを別の言葉であらわしてバラエティをもたせるのが文章を書くコツです。 things that happen at homeの代わりにhings which happen at homeと書き換えても、構わないでしょう。

大学入試の過去問です。 I was wondering how far I should trust him and I had an uncomfortable impression which he knew what I was thinking. この中で誤りを訂正するタスクで which→that が正解なんですが、なぜwhichではいけないのかがわかりません。 両方とも関係代名詞で合ってますか？ 『私はどこまで彼を信頼するべきなのかしらと思い、彼が私が考えていることを知っているという居心地の悪い印象を持っていた』 で訳は合っていますか？ 重ねての質問ですみません。 よろしくお願いします。

意味のつかめない文章があるので教えてください。 1. What is worth doing at all is worth doing well. 特にat allがわかりません。 2. I fell asleep reading. I remember other things I was doing before reading, but it's all a blur. itは何を指しているんでしょうか。 3.
