PX-434Aドライバーインストールでランタイムエラーが出る | 解決法を教えてください
- 新型VAIO ZにPX-434Aのドライバーをインストールしようとしていますが、ランタイムエラーが発生してインストールができません。

PX-434Aドライバーインストールについて
パソコンを新型VAIO Zに買い替えたため、EPSONのホームページからPX-434Aのドライバー(windows 8.1 64bit)をインストールしようとしていますが、途中必ず、「Microsoft Visual C＋＋ Runtime Library. Runtime Error! This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.」と出てきてしまい、インストールを完了することができません。 解決法を教えて下さい。 ※OKWaveより補足：「EPSON社製品」についての質問です。

一応はバイオ専用のアップデート行うか それとソニーのサポートに聞くとか エプソンのサポートに聞くといいかもしれません、、、、。

同じエラーですか。 もしかしたらダウンロードしたドライバファイルが破損しているのかもしれません。 再度エプソンのページからダウンロードしてみてください。 その際ブラウザを変えてみるとより確実です。 （Chromeをお使いだったらFireFoxやIEなどでダウンロードしてみる） ランタイムは削除しなくても害はありません。

ご丁寧にご回答ありがとうございます。 IEを使っていたので、Chromeをダウンロードして再度、ドライバファイルをダウンロードしてみました。 が、結果は変わらずでした、、、。

Microsoft Visual C＋＋ Runtime Libraryというのが無い状態です。 これは無料でMicrosoftから公開されています。 ただいくつものバージョンがあるので、どれが足りないのかは文章からわかりませんでした。 ソフトはこちらのページにまとまっていましたので紹介します。 http://note.chiebukuro.yahoo.co.jp/detail/n294134 一般的に多く使われているのは2010 、2012です。 まず2010の64bit版をインストールしてみるといいかもしれません。

詳細なご回答、大変ありがとうございました。 Visual C＋＋に関しては、2008, 2010, 2012, 2013年のものをダウンロードしてみましたが、同様のエラーがでました。余計なVisual C＋＋は消したほうが良いのでしょうか？？
