まず、自分なりの答えを書いてみたほうが良いと思います。 とりあえず３の答えと考え方。 3. He asked me how I had known that. 考え方 直接話法の部分が疑問文ー＞said toをasked 直接話法の内容のyouは誰のこと？ー＞彼が「私に」尋ねているので「私」のことー＞youを I (アイ)に置き換える。 直接話法の部分と時間のずれが’あるか？ー＞saidした時ににdid you knowだからずれがあるー＞間接話法にすると過去完了を用いる。 間接話法の部分は肯定文の語順ー＞I had knownの語順にする。 N.B. thatは変更しない。thisならthatに置き換える。 上述のポイントの幾つかは既知のことでしょう。

アShe said to me, "I don't know when he will come back." イShe told me (that) she didn't know when he would come back. ウShe said to me (that) she didn't know when he would come back. アの直接話法を間接話法に書き換えると，イのようになるようです。 ウのような話法は不可能ですか？ どちらが適切なのでしょうか？

間接話法の質問です。 いつも偉そうに回答ばかりさせていただいてますので、今回質問させていただきます。ずーっと悩んできたことです。以下の文をそれぞれ間接話法に直していただけませんでしょうか？ １）He said to me, "It is three years since we first met." ２）He said to me, "It has been three years since we first met." ３）He said to me, "Three years have passed since we first met." すみません。頭が固くなっているのか、時制の一致の部分が分からなくなってしまいました。お願いいたします。
