英語について。
人々には何かを決定しないといけない時が来る。 People come chance when we should decision something. この英文はあっていますか？ 添削お願いします。 あと、due to の使い方なのですが…、 たとえば、I wanted her to become a doctor この文に付け足しで、「私が医者なので」としたい場合、due to を使って補足することはできますか？ I wanted her to become a doctor due to I'm a doctor という感じで。 due to には、～なので、という意味があると書いてあったんですがこの書き方であっていますか？

>People come chance when we should decision something. comeの使い方、peopleとweと異なること、decisionが名詞であることが、ちょっと難点になっています。できるだけ英文の単語をそのままにして、仰る意味になるように考えてみます。 Chance when we should decide something cames to us. 「我々誰でも、何かを決断すべき運命がやって来る。」 >人々には何かを決定しないといけない時が来る。 こちらの意味を重視するようにしてみます。この「人々」は「どんな人でも」ということだろうと思います。「時」からはchance「運命」は少し遠いかもしれません。 Sometime, time to make a decision has cames to everyone. 直訳「いつか、決断の時が誰にも来る。」 >たとえば、I wanted her to become a doctor この文に付け足しで、「私が医者なので」としたい場合、due to を使って補足することはできますか？ I wanted her to become a doctor due to I'm a doctor という感じで。 >due to には、～なので、という意味があると書いてあったんですがこの書き方であっていますか？ due toの後は名詞ということよりも、意味・ニュアンスがちょっと違います。「～のせいで」といった感じで、原因を表すときに使います。また、いいことについては、あまり使いません。 同じような意味の言葉ですが、because（やsince, as for）を使えば大丈夫です。 I wanted her to become a doctor because I'm a doctor. （↑I was a doctorという時制の一致を行わないままにしてあります。現在も「私」が医者なら、こういう言い方もあります。）

ほとんどつうじるみこみはありません。 文章には、名詞と動詞があることをまず認識し、前置詞のうしろには名詞しか来ないことなども認識すべきかとおもいます。

添削 The time will come when we have to make an important decision. わざとimportantを入れましたが、今晩のおかずは何をしようかなどのようなdecisionは入らないので、そうしました。 たとえば、I wanted her to become a doctor この文に付け足しで、「私が医者なので」としたい場合、due to を使って補足することはできますか？ I wanted her to become a doctor due to I'm a doctor →だめです。 １．due toは前置詞なので、直後に名詞を持ってくる。I'm a doctorなどの文を持ってくることは不可能。 ２．due toは、もともと借金があるので、借りがあるのでーーという意味です。ですから、こういう負い目があるからーーみたいな意味が基本です。 I wanted her to become a doctor since I am a doctor. I wanted her to become a doctor because of my occupation that is a doctor. などなら、一応通じます。でも、これでもやや不十分です。 I am a doctor. So I wanted her to become a doctor. 例えばこうすればいいわけです。 以上、ご参考になればと思います。

I was in the cafe by the north entrance to the station, reading my paper and having a coffee .I had an appointment with a client nearby and I was killing time because I'd arrived half an hour early.I suddenly heard a terrible shout, and when I looked out of the window,I saw that a woman was in the middle of the crossing. I assumed she'd fallen off her bicycle because it was lying on the tracks and all her shopping had come out of her basket.People were calling out to her from the road.Some were telling her to stay put and others were telling her to get off the crossing. She didn't seem to know what to do.She just say there.One of the waiters in the cafe saw this and ran out to get her.
