＃２です。補足です。 ＞＞なぜ「来るだろう」とするのかわかりませんが、「今ここに来るだろう」は合わなくないと思います。あと「居るだろう」で考えちゃダメですか。 次の直説法の２文をご覧下さい。 1. He will be here now （動詞の時は未来、ですから現在を表す now と合いません) 2. He has been here now (動詞は現在完了、過去の動作の現在の結果で now と合います） それを仮定形にすると １'。 He would be here now if his plane had arrived on time. 飛行機が定時に着いていたら、今ここに来るだろう。（「今ここに」と「来るだろう」が合いません） ２'。 He would have been here now if his plane had arrived on time. 飛行機が定時に着いていたら、今ここに来ているだろう。 になります。 そこでご質問ですが ＞＞なぜ「来るだろう」とするのかわかりませんが、 「今ここに来るだろう」は合わなくないと思います。 He will be here now は、「彼はここに未来に居る」＝現在ここにいない、この両者を満足させるために日本語の動詞を直訳の「居る」から、道理に合わせた「来る」にした訳です。 ＞＞あと「居るだろう」で考えちゃダメですか。 これはちっとも構わないと思います。

日本語としては「今ここに来るだろう」はおかしくないと言いたかったのです。 おっしゃる通りwill be here とnowは相性が悪いですが、now自体は未来を表す文でsoonに近い意味で使われたりすることは普通にあるはずです。 I'm coming now. She will turn up now. どちらも辞書からの引用です。 また、仮定法過去は、未来も表しますが現在を表すこともできます。なので、he would be here now は直接法になおすとhe is not here nowの意味にもなり He would be here now if his plane had arrived on time.の文が全くオカシイ文ではないと思います。 分かりやすい比較が文法書に載っています。 If I'd gone to the party last night, I would be tired now.(I am not tired now- present) If I'd gone to the party last night, I would have met lots of people.(I didn't meet lots of people -past) この考え方に従った場合、would have been here はwas not here nowとなりそれこそおかしいと思っていたわけですが、現在完了の仮定法の形という考え方をいただきなんとなくわかった気がしてきています。
