It takes about a hour to go to the station from here. ↓ It takes about an hour to go to the station from here. （細かいことですが a は an になります。 hourの発音が母音ということで決まります。） ＞ここから1時間くらいの場所にある駅に私は向かった。 I went to the station a hour outside of here. ↓ I went to the station in which it is located from here for about 1 hour. でしょうか。

『駅はここから1時間くらいの場所です』と言えば、恐らく歩いて？とかバスで？とか聞かれると思います。従って、歩いて、バスで、をつけ加えたほうが良いと思います。 The station is about one hour walk from here. The station is about one hour from here by bus. 『ここから(車で)1時間くらいの場所にある駅に私は向かった』 I went to the station which is about one hour from here by car. I went to the station which is about one hour drive from here.

I went to the station a hour outside of here. それでは 今度行くときはどのくらい時間がかかるんでしょうかね？ 過去の経験の叙述だから、「その時は雨かな、道路交通はどうだったとして、一般的にはどうよ？」 と、受け取ってしまうのでは？

駅を「here」--(lineう)--「stationい」--(lineえ)--「stationあ」としてあります☆ 「here」 から 「stationあ(自分の地元)」に帰るまでの道のりから始まるスピーチを英語にしました。 この英文を添削していただきたいです^^; I’m going to give you a speech about my hometown あ. あ is in ん prefecture. あ is toward to い from here. (「あ」はここから「い」方面にあります。と、したいです^^;) fifty minutes ride on local train of う line enables to reach い station from here. Another thirty minutes ride on local train of え line enables to reach あ station. So, I took about one and half hour when I go back to my hometown あ, including the time to change trains. あ is famous for fireworks. Firework festival is performed in あ every year. When the day comes, there are more than five hundred stalls to sell Yakisoba Okonomi and so on.
