英語の再学習者です。英作文について（間違え、適切な表現など）下記について、皆さんのご意見をお聞かせください。 (1)This gave origin to city planning. 「これが都市計画の起源となった。」と英文で作りたかったのですが、間違えないでしょうか？ (2)This is the largest problem in any era. 「これがいつの時代も最も大きな問題である。」と英文で作りたかったのですが、間違えないでしょうか？ (3)under constructing yet now. 「今もまだ建設中」と英文で作りたかったのですが、間違えないでしょうか？ (4)Nowadays Barcelona has promoted making city with any international event. 「今日、バルセロナは国際イベントを誘致することにより都市づくりを推進している。」と英文で作りたかったのですが、間違えないでしょうか？

アメリカ在住者のものですので、ある程度手助けはできると思いますが・・・ なにぶん日本語がヘタクソですので、あくまでただのど素人個人の意見だと受け止めてください。 ＃１ 僕でしたらまず "This BECAME" にします。 なぜなら、起源に「なる」のであって、起源を「与える」わけではないからです。 また、 "the origin/beginning/first example of city planning." と、ここで使う単語はこの三つのうちどれかにします。 Originでも通じるとは思いますが、なんとなく不自然か・・・？ ＃２ この文は、グラマー的にはあっている・・・と思いますが、Largestという言葉がちょっと不自然です。 僕だったら、ちょっぴりアホくさいと思ってもBiggestを使います。 僕は無理してなるべく長めの、大きめの単語を多様し、なるべく回りくどく長い文を書こうとした時期がありましたが、今ではやっぱり自然さとわかりやすさが一番だと気づきました。 ＃３ これは、シンプルに "(It is) still under construction" でいいと思います。 UnderもYetもNowも全部「いまだに」という意味ですから、何度も使わなくていいです。 同じく、「今」という言葉がすでにあるので、ConstructingではなくConstructionで。 もし、看板のようなものでしたらIt isは抜いても十分伝わります。 ＃４ 現在も進行中なのでHasではなくIs。 あと、Making cityだとそのまま都市を作ること（新しく築き上げること）になってしまうので、Developingにした方が。 Promoting developing the cityでもいいですが、わかりづらいので「プロモートしようとしている」に。 Anyはなくても大丈夫です。 "Nowadays, Barcelona is trying to promote developing the city with international events." お役に立てれば幸いです。 勉強がんばってくださいね。僕も日本語の勉強、がんばります。

中学三年です。 期末テストで英文を書くのですが、自分が作った文章があっているのかわかりません。 お題は修学旅行についてで、必ず何を学んだか書く必要があります。(10文程度で。) 英文は次の通りです。 I went to Kyoto in September. I learned a culture that is different from Tokyo. Kyoto's city is like a go board.(go boardの意味は碁盤です。) The city was very beautiful. Kyoto's people didn't permit looking down on the emperor. Because of there aren't any tall buildings. Tokyo doesn't have this culture. I learned this culture is only in Kyoto. Kyoto's culture is very interesting. 英語再勉強中ですが、なかなか思ったように文書ができているのか疑問です。 よろしければ、一部でもかまいませんので、添削をお願いします。 よろしくお願いします。 開国したころ、時代は明治へと変わった。 この時代の目標は、不平等条約の改正だった。 そこで、外国から日本が近代国家として認められる為に、GDPの50％を費やして軍事力を強化すると共に、近代国家に相応しい都市づくりを行った。 その結果、当時の日本人は厳しい生活を送ったが、日本はロシアとの戦争に勝利し、その目的を達成した。 この奇跡が日本を第二次世界大戦へ向かわせたと思うが。 ご存じのように、その後、日本は戦争に敗れ、5年間占領された。 その後、日本はアメリカに次ぐ経済大国となったが、現在の日本の国力は年々減少している。 今、本当に厳しい時である。 About after opening this country, an era changed Meiji. The goal in this era was that it would revise the unequal treaties. So they had strengthened the military power spending 50 percents of GDP and had built a city which was worth as a modern country in order to make foreign countries admit Japan as one of modern countries. The result why the then Japanese had had a difficult life, Japan won a war against Russia and got the goal. I think this miracle made Japan proceed to WWII. As you know, after that Japan was beaten and occupied for 5 years. After that, Japan would be an economic power following the US. But now the power of Japan has been decreasing year after year. It’s a really hard time in Japan now.

こんにちは。 先日、自分自身で英文e-mailを書きました。しかし、表現が不自然だと思うところがとても多くありました。どうか、このe-mailの表現を添削することを通じて不自然な表現の訂正をお願いします！（気になったところだけで結構です！） 引用： Dear ○○○, Hi, I am in Katmandu now. It's second day for me here. This is very good city to pass time, so that I am always strolling in the city and reading some books in the small cafe restaurant (astonishingly there are many pretty good restrant to pass time^^). But Seeing past my shoulder to the days before here, it makes me a little shiver..It was beyond my imagination, actually, I have never imagined this travel had been this hard way... In fact, I struggled to this small city... Sufferings Detail: 1. Because of High fever(38 Celcius), no appitite(vomition), water-like something and loose emotion, I was hospitalized for two days in DELHI. When I arrived there, it's even difficult for me to walk! I was said 45 kg. 10 kg lesser than my ordinary weight! It was terrible expression. It was 7th day in India. I couldn't eat any solid meals for 5 days! (...to be continued.)
