英文の日付2005-10の意味
とある医学論文の表題「An audit of acute bacterial meningitis in a large teaching hospital 2005-10」の、2005-10の意味は2005～2010年の意味でしょうか、それとも2005年10月の意味でしょうか。このような書き方をするが一般的なのか、いろいろ検索してみましたがわかりません。どなたか、よろしくお願いします。

私は from 2005 to 2010 の略記だと解します。 「１０月度の」 という意味なら、in という前置詞を付けるのではないでしょうか （また、あるいは 2005/10 という書き方をするかもしれませんし、正確を期するなら in Oct 2010 などと書くのではないでしょうか）。

My son is a dedicated anesthesiologist. He took a job at a small hospital in a small town, hoping to enjoy a reasonable life. The pay isn't as good as that of a large hospital in a big city, but he was willing to take a cut in order to work there.
