My family went to Hawaii trip to celebrate his retirement, and he bought himself a pair of gloves to remember the occasion by. We took photos for memories. We took photos to remember the occasion by. He bought himself a pair of gloves for memories. 3)to remember the occasion by の最後のbyは省略できるのですか? We took photos to remember the occasion by. For your dad's retirement party, golf equipment like umbrellas, golf balls, or golf shirts are a great sentiment to remember the special occasion.

[添](削) My family went to Hawaii[, and] (trip to) celebrate[d] [our father's](his) retirement [as well.](,) [There](and) he bought himself a pair of gloves to remember the occasion by. 1)「も兼ねて」・・・2つの動作にすれば"also"や"too"でも言えます. 2)「~の記念に」・・・he bought a pair of gloves for the memory「記憶・記念の代わりに」

It is essential for us to memorize because we all depend on memories. For example, we improve playing the piano by keeping practice, which is a kind of memory. However, the lecture also said that forgetting is also important because all human beings have to remember a lot of thing every day, so we have to dump old memories.

よく付帯状況のwithとかing系でつなげる(the women passed by me giving off~)のing系で状態を表すと聞くのですが、この場合はどうしたいいのでしょうか? In a situation where we don't know how to pronounce English rightly, it is meaningless to read it aloud.

One Saturday evening my boyfriend Hiroshi and I went to a concert. On our way to a concert hall, we met a foreigner having(carrying?) a traveling bag. He was looking around for something with a map in his hand. He seemed at a loss for which way to go. Then I went up and talked to him. He told me he was looking for a hotel, showing me the map.I I knew where the hotel was and suggested to him that I take him there. Hiroshi seemed worried about whether we could arrive before the starting time for a concert. But I couldn't leave him as he was a total stranger here and couldn't understand Japanese at all. We walked to the hotel for a while, and arrived there. He deeply thanked me and we separated. Meanshile, Hiroshi seemed so irritated because it was almost seven o'clock when the concert was scheduled to begin. After leaving the hotel, we went to the concert hall in a hurry. When we got to the hall, it was fifteen minutes past seven. Unfortunately we were not allowed to enter the inside by a hall clerk. Naturally, Hiroshi got mad at me.

と思って<We are going to have a lesson at my house today.>と言ったこともあるのですが、この英文で良いのでしょうか?
