Nikos Onassis gasped when he opened his newspaper, the Perth Times. "LUXURY CRUISE TURNS DISASTER!" screamed the headline. Underneath was the following article by journalist Helena Hack. "Passengers returned to Australia yesterday shaken but safe after a ten-day Christmas cruise which turned into a disaster. The staff on board Voyager 1,owned by Nikos Onassis, couldn’t even speak English. The food was terrible. It was supposed to be a large luxury cruise ship but turned out to be too small for the stormy weather. Passengers were sick for most of the trip. Mrs Elsie Moaner told us some were terrified. Mr Gordon Grouch added: I’ll certainly never take trip on this boat again. ‘Mrs Sally Chang became so ill she left the ship in Singapore and flew directly balk to Perth.” Onassis was furious. Despite bad weather most passengers seemed to have enjoyed themselves. Yet Hack had suggested his ship was dangerous and the holiday a disaster. He decided to sue Perth Times for defamation. As a witness for the plaintiff, Mr Grouch said he had told Mr Hack:I have no plans for another cruise soon because I tend to get seasick." Mrs Chang said she had to leave the cruise after falling and hurting her foot, but the staff were very helpful despite their broken English. On the defendant’s side Mrs Moaner told the court that the Christmas dinner had been terrible. She thought some passengers looked frightened and she felt the ship was much too small to be safe. Ms Hack defended her article: “In a free country the public has a right to the truth. I made a simplified but honest report of what passengers told me.” The question was * had Ms Hack simplified too much?

<自分で作った英文> When I was young what kind of child was I? I could'nt remember my childhood much. So I asked my mother about my childhood. And she answered like this . "You were very shy and whenever you were spoken by someone ,you hid behind me''. certainly I had seen my child hood picture which I was hiding behind my mother . The great cause which changed me is english. when I was elementary school student,I started to learn english at neiborhood private school. ここちょっとわからないです。 this is my turning point.

some guy called me on Wednesday and said my friend had told him that I might be interested in some event.. But he didn't tell me what the event was about because he said he wants to talk to me about it in person.. So we decided to meet next weeks Wednesday. It sounded a bit suspicious so I invited a friend to go with me. But yesterday I found out he's my friends' boyfriend, so I'm not so worried anymore (^_^;) Yesterday was my parents' 25 year anniversary. Dad always sends mom roses if he's at work, but now he contacted me and said his internet at work is not working so he asked me to order 25 roses for mom and also send her a card with a romantic poem (in Spanish of course). And he only contacted me like 2 days before the anniversary day and I was really busy during those days Q__Q I managed to do everything though, but it was a bit strange to be looking for a love poem for my mom, lol. She's the one who could've gotten me a work placement in Tokyo but I refused it later. But now she said its good that I didnt take the job because they had some problems there and that its better for me to just find a company in Kansai area. And she said there was one company where she has connections to, so she will most likely help me with that. Yay (^O^)

I was doing some last-minute Christmas shopping in a toy store and decided to look at Barbie dolls for my nieces. A nicely dressed little girl was excitedly looking through the Barbie dolls as well, with a roll of money clamped tightly in her little hand. When she came upon a Barbie she liked, she would turn and ask her father if she had enough money to buy it. He usually said "yes," but she would keep looking and keep going through their ritual of "do I have enough?" As she was looking, a little boy wandered in across the aisle and started sorting through the Pokemon toys. He was dressed neatly, but in clothes that were obviously rather worn, and wearing a jacket that was probably a couple of sizes too small. He too had money in his hand, but it looked to be no more than five dollars or so at the most. He was with his father as well, and kept picking up the Pokemon video toys. Each time he picked one up and looked at his father, his father shook his head,"no".

Just three months later I was back again at the Seattle airport. A different voice answered, "Information," and I asked for Sally. "Are you a friend?" "Yes," I said. "An old friend." "Then I'm sorry to have to tell you. Sally had only been working part-time in the last few years because she was ill. She died five weeks ago." But before I could hang up, she said, "Wait a minute. Did you say your name was Willard?" "Yes." "Well, Sally left a message for you. She wrote it down." "What was it?"I asked, almost knowing in advance what i would be. "Here it is, I'll read it - "Tell him I still say there are other worlds to sing in. He'll know what I mean.'" I thanked her and hung up. I did know what Sally meant.

Of course, this was no treatment in the proper sense since, first, his despair was no disease, and second, I could not change his attitude toward his unchangeable fate because from that time on he could at least see a meaning in his suffering.

She looked happy with the instructor. Can we meet her again? I was very surprised. Jenne sat biside the instructor and never bark. Jenne was waiting quietly during the instructor's speech. •

Needless to say I have been very very busy. Not so much with my work (well not more than or times).. but with house hold chores. Cooking, cleaning, dishes, laundry ... living all by yourself is a lot of work ... I sympathize with all the women out there :) But help is on the way ... I'm planning to hire a cleaning lady so she can help me clean my house a couple of hours a week. And for the cooking ... I actually like to cook and I think I'm getting quite good at it. But my sister is a bit worried about me. She calls and asks me how I'm doing. And then I tell her what I prepared for diner ... and it turns out that everything I make is either a Japanese or Chinese dish ... or at least I try to. So my sister complains that I'm not from Belgium any more and that I don't cook real food ... hahaha. Then I need to remind her that in Japan and China there are many people eating this food and that they are very genki ... :)Oh well ... eating waffles every day is also not good. Oh speaking of waffles I was passing by one of these vans that sell waffles. And I thought I had to take a picture for (私の名前) :)Something else ... now that my ex wife has left I'm also rearranging some things in my finances. In short I need to set up a new company and I thought I of creating giving it a Japanese sounding name. People over here get totally confused when they hear it ... but I like that :). Do you know of a nice name? My doryo suggested "matsu" ... I kind of like it. What do you think? Do you have a nicer name? That new company will own my house and all my money and I will keep it for maybe the rest of my life. So if you find a name ... I'll probably think of you for the rest of my life ... hahaha No don't take it that seriously ... but I think you're good in finding names. Please let me know your opinion. Maybe you can see my last run: as you can see I still need a lot more training :( メールの相手、会社を興そうとしているのでしょうか?
