>>Take 6 Bill Champlins……and what do you get？ 「Take 6のBill Champlin版だね。感想はどう？」 という意味だと思います。Bill Champlinsと複数形にしているのは一人で多重録音しているからかな(YouTubeで聴いてみました)。What do you get?は他のコメントを誘発しているんだと思いますよ。 著作権違反とか挑戦的なコメントなどとは関係がありません。違法アップロードや対価の話をしているなら動詞が現在形のまま(takeとかdo you get)というのが全くもって変ですから。

Bill Champlinの曲を６曲もアップロードして、その対価として何を得たんだ？ というぐらいの意味です。 米国著作権法では、著作権侵害になる行為なので、その警告の意図があるかもしれません。 ちなみに日本の著作権法でも、著作権侵害になります。

セルジオ・メンデスが好きで昔から聞いています。Timelessというアルバムに"let me"という歌がありますが、セルジオ・メンデスがまだBrasil '65のときにもこの歌が入っているのに最近気づきました。ところが歌詞が少し違います。 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0dREolbJJY この動画の最初から１分前後のところで Let me cheer you when your dreams go past というところがあります。Timelessはこの最後のgo pastがgo bustです。それはいいのですが、この昔の演奏を聞いていると、go pastにはどうしても聞こえなくて、get dustに聞こえます。最初こうきこえてしまったので、どうしても先入観で聞いてしまうのかも知れませんが、本当のところは何と歌っているのかお聞きしたくて、投稿しました。

カズオイシグロのNEVER LET ME GOより、 it means a lot to me, being able to do my work well, especially that bit about my donors staying 'calm'. という部分の訳しかたを教えて欲しいです。特に、especially that bit about を文法的に教えて欲しいです。
