possibleは It is possible for ~ to …

My 3-year-old daughter’s best friend at day care is a boy. They have been together since they were little babies and are inseparable. His family and some of the nursery staff have encouraged the idea that they are boyfriend and girlfriend—when we went to his birthday party, even his extended family said, “Oh you’re Sally’s mom, his little girlfriend!” I know this is fairly common in the way people talk about children, but it’s something I think is creepy and weird. I’ve let it slide because my daughter refers to George as her “best friend,” not her boyfriend, so I don’t worry it’s rubbing off. I don’t worry it’s rubbing offの訳を教えてください。よろしくお願いします

お願いします!!続き As you wandered through the city, you would have seen one building that stood out from all the othes, the so-called Great Hall. Not only was it bigger than all of the other buildings, but it was also built of wood on a brick foundation.(Because the local trees were small, the builders probably bought the wood in the highlands, then floated it down the river to the city during the monroon.) Archaeologists don't know what the building was used for.At first, they guessedthat it was used to store grain, but there's no evidence of that.Today, they believe that Harappa's Great Hall,as well as a similar large building in Mohenjo Daro, was probably a government or public meeting place. Although the great cities of the Indus were very similar, they were not identical. If you were a pilgrim from Harappa arriving in Mohenjo Daro for a religious festival, you might have felt that the people in Mohenjo Daro were a little bit more formal than your friend at home. For one thing,Mohenjo Daro didn't have just a Great Hall, but many other large buildings as well. Each section of the city had several large complexes. Some of these buildings may have been religious buildings or mansions for wealthy merchants. One building had a circle of bricks in its courtyard, which might have been the site of a sacred tree.A double staircase led to an upper courtyard surrounded by several rooms. When archaeologists excavated it,they found that the house was littered with lots of seals and fragments of a stone sculpture depicting a seated man wearing a cloak over his left shoulder who might have been a political or religious leader of some kind.

<WHITE> A "white elephant" is another example of white used in a negative way. This expression has an interesting historical background. In ancient Thailand, a white elephant was regarded as a sacred animal, but it was very expensive to keep. The kings of those days presented a white elephant to the people they wanted to ruin.Once they received this holy, royal animal as a gift, they were not allowed to sell or kill it.Today, a "white elephant" means something that is big, useless, and unwanted. In America, when people want to get rid of their furniture or clothes, they often have a "white elephant sale." <GREEN> Green is an inportant color in nature. It is the color of grass and summer leaves, the color of most growing planets. Sometimes green means young, fresh, and growing.Sometimes it describes something that is not yet ripe or finished. Someone who has the ability to grow plants well is said to have "a green thumb." A person with a green thumb seems to have a magic touch for making planets grow quickly and well. You may wish to have a green thumb, but you surely do not want to be a "greenhorn" is a preson who has no experience or who is new to a job. Green is also used to describe jealousy or envy. The "green-eyed monster" is what Shakespeare calls jealousy in his play Othello. For instance, you could say someone is green with envy because the girl he liked began going out with another boy. 長くなりましたが…お願い致します。
