英文内容の違い（Negative confirmation)
Which of the following statements would an auditor most likely to the negative form of confirmation of account receivable to encourage timely consideration by the recipients? 私が理解できないのは次の2つの文の内容です。直訳は別にして内容の違いが把握できません。どなたかヒントをいただければ幸いです。 1.Report any difference on the enclosed statement directly to our auditors; no reply is necessary if this statements agrees with your records. 2.If you do not report any difference with 15 days, it will be assumed that this statement is correct.

仮に私が買い手だったとしたら Account Receivableの売掛金の合計がAuditorのと合致さえしていれば、1>,2>ともに何も返事をしなくても良いわけです。 でも1.は相違があればStatementに書き込んでAuditorに送ってくれ。合致してれば、なにもしなくても結構です。 2.は15日以内に報告がない場合は、これで正しいものとみなすぞ。 １が良く使われるスタイルです。 第三者である会計事務所から来る ある時点でのAccount Receivable金額の確認依頼はRecepientとしてはあくまで協力してあげてるわけですから（売り手会社の決算のために必要な手続き）、15日以内にReportしないと....なんて偉そうにいわれるとあまり協力したくなくなります。

こんにちは 詳しい回答が出ていますがご参考までに・・・ 記載された情報に同意しない場合のみ連絡しろ、ということで１．も２．も同じ内容を示しています。 唯一違う点は、２．では同意しない場合の連絡は「15日以内」という期日が示されているということです。 私は実務的に詳しくは分かりませんが、売掛金の消極的確認の手段として、監査人が受取り人からの時宜を得た確認を促す可能性が最も高いのは以下の記述のうちどちらになるか、という質問なので、英文を解釈しただけでは私は２．ではないかと思いました。 でも、違ったらごめんなさい。 ご参考まで

nadaさん、こんにちは。 以下の文章のうち、どちらが聞き手にとって受け取りやすいか？ ということだと思いますが ＞1.Report any difference on the enclosed statement directly to our auditors; no reply is necessary if this statements agrees with your records. 囲まれた文章に、違いはあるか、我々聞き手にダイレクトに報告せよ。 しかし、もしこれらの文章が、あなたの記録と一致していれば、返事の必要はない。 ＞2.If you do not report any difference with 15 days, it will be assumed that this statement is correct. ここのwithはwithinという意味でしょうか？そうだとすると １５日以内に違いをあなたが説明できなかった場合は、 それらの文章は正しいとみなします。 のような感じになると思います。 １のほうは、違いがあるかどうか、直接に説明してください。 違いがなければ（というか、記録と合っていれば）説明は不要です、という感じなのに対して ２は、違いを説明できなければ、一緒だとみなす、みたいな感じだと思います。 ご参考になればうれしいです。

どうもありがとうございます。この解答は２のほうです。 確かに受領者にとっては1の方が受け取る感じは２に比べ、おだやかですね。２のほうは事務的な感じがします。というのも監査が目的であるから一応の区切りをつけないといけないのでしょうね。というのも回答者の方からのレスでひらめきました。

現地法人より、クレジットカード決済機能の付いたHP開設をすべく 契約書の検証を依頼されました。 銀行の権利を定めた条項である事はなんとなくわかりますが、 文章の区切りも見えず、英語として理解できない状態です。 Bank's decision made in good faith under this Clause shall be conclusive between the parties hereto. 英文監査からです。 One of the conditions required for an accountant to submit a written personal plan containing unaudited financial statements to a client without complying with the requirements of Compilation and Review of Financial statements is that the client agrees that the financial statements will not be used to obtain credit. 会計士が顧客に監査をしていない財務諸表があり、それは財務諸表の調整とレビューの要件がなく、会計士が顧客に個人計画書を提出するひとつの条件として顧客が財務諸表を融資のために利用してはならない。 といった訳でよろしいでしょうか。ちょっと自信がありません。
