友達から ”What do you feel you get out of our relationship？” と聞かれたんですが、日本語だと 「私たちの関係で、自分がなにを得ると思っていますか」ですよね。 例えばビジネス上の関係で上記のようなことを言われたり、 もしくは What do you get out of learning english？ のようにget out of を使うのだったら意味がわかるんですが、 友達が友達にこういうことを言うのって どういう時なんでしょうか？ 例えば、私が友達を利用しすぎていて、相手が怒っていたりすると こういうセリフがでてくるんでしょうか？ （あくまで「たとえ」なので、私は友達を利用していません。） 日本語でこんなことを友達に聞いたことがないので （「自分との関係であなたは何を得たいの？」とか聞かないですよね？） なんだかすごく難しい質問されたように感じしまっているのですが 日本語でいうと、”○○”って聞くのと同じようなニュアンスだよとか、 「自分だったらこういう時にこのセリフをいう」とか 教えていただけないでしょうか。
