これはキング牧師が１９６３年８月２８日にワシントンのリンカン記念館のあるナショナル・モールの広場で行った演説です。 ですから、最初に one day, down in Alabama を使用してワシントンよりずっと南にあるアラバマ州で、と 地理的な位置を正確にするため”DOWN"をつかっています。 one day right in Alabama そうして上記の”RIGHT"は前述の”DOWN"を強調して｢前述したその アラバマで」を意味するのだと思います。 言い換えれば”RIGHT THERE"です。 ご参考になれば

I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers. 間をすっとばしたこれが一様文の流れだと思います。 で、one day, down in Alabamaといっておいて、いろいろ付け足したもんだから(あいだの私が省略したところ)もう一度one day right in Alabamaとねんを押しておいたのだと思います。 right は"まさにここ"ぐらいの意味と思いますが、私はこういう歴史には 頓珍漢なのですが、アラバマで演説したんでしょうねたぶん。。。。。

But almost every day at least one or two of the little girls and boys would stop in front of Old Dinah's lovebirds, and hold out their pennies and say, "I want a fortune, please." 。 演説の中で、 ”When will you be satisfied?" いつ満足しますか？ と書いてありますが、 参考書には、 疑問詞がつく場合、 be going to になり たとえば、 When are you going to leave Tokyo for London. になると書いてあります。 上記の文では、When are you going to be satisfied ? なら納得なんですが、 When will you be satisfied?" になる理由がわかりません

バレンタインデーの話でこのような文が出てきました。 Chocolates are given to guys from the girls. I learned that in America, boys give chocolates to girls. この二者の文からtheについてお聞きしたいのですが 前者のguysは特定されていないため無冠詞、そしてgirlsにtheがついているのはguysにあげる特定のgirlsということでtheがついてるのだと思います。（あっているか不安なので説明いただきたいです） しかし後者の文においてはboysにtheがないのはわかりますがなぜgirlsの方にtheがないのかわかりません。文法的にご説明いただけないでしょうか。 theについての質問、ご回答お願いします。
