こんばんは、 文法書の「分詞の叙述用法」の中に「S+V+O＋過去分詞」で説明がある筈です。 ＞based on their sex の部分は、文法的な説明をするとすると、どうなるのでしょう？ 「他動詞の目的格補語」になった「過去分詞」です。 ご参考までに

You should not judge a person "in the aspect of" their sex. You should not judge a person "from the view of" their sex. とか、 You should not judge a person, which judge should not be based on their sex. とかの judge への形容（詳細説明）の意味合いが based という過去分詞でなされている、とお考えになるのがわかりやすいのではないでしょうか。

They should do for themselves. こうなるとすれば、 in order not to では意味合いがおかしくなるの は分かります。 分かる方がいらっしゃいましたらよろしくお願いいたします。

英訳と文法を教えてください。 Being called does not mean you will be a juror. It just means you have to be available should you be put on a jury trial. (1)最初の文章は、『Even if you are being called it doesn't mean you will be a juror.』 といった感じが、省略前でしょうか？ (2)なぜ主語が『Being called』 になるのか、この文を書いた方はなぜ主語を省くことにしたのでしょうか？ (3)『does』の前の主語までがなぜ省略できるのか分かりません。 (4)２文目の『should』は、なぜ『you』の前ににきているのでしょうか？強調のためでしょうか？ 分かりにくい質問になってしまいましたが、宜しくお願いします。

英文法について教えてください。 「経験を積めば積むほど、より賢明な決断ができるだろう。」 を英文にすると、 The more experience you have, the wiser decisions you will make. になるそうです。 この文章について文法の解説をしていただけないでしょうか。 私が上の文章を英語にすると、 The more you have experience, you will can make a wiser decisions. かなと思ったのですが、、、。 これは間違いですか？ 上記の英文は主語の前に目的語がある？？ 意味が理解できません。 英文法を踏まえて詳しく説明して頂けませんでしょうか？ 宜しくお願いいたします。

いつもお世話になっております。 英文を読んでいる際に理解できない文章表現があったので ご説明して頂きたいと思います。 Now suppose you run the model again but make one minor change in the initial conditions-say, a small change in the wind speed. (1)上記の英文で何故、動詞の「supoose」が文頭にきているのでしょうか？ (2)「conditions-say」の部分で何故、動詞の「say」はハイフンで繋がれているのでしょうか？ また何故、動詞の「say」が置かれているのか分かりません。 文法的な説明をお願いします。
