たまたま、お答えにないので・・・ 私は、個人的には、 How much different A from B? How far different A to B? など、副詞を間にはさんだ表現を使う傾向があります。 How different は、可能なのですが、漠然としすぎて相手が答える際の幅が広くなり、 聞く際、つらくなることが想像されます。 それを承知なら、別段副詞をはさむべきではないですが。

こんにちは。 How different is A from B ? でよろしいのではないかと。 回答：A is different from B at the point that .... in the way that .... などなど。 different を名詞形 difference で表現すれば What is the difference between A and B ? となります。

AとBの「違い」を尋ねるのでしたら、 What is the difference A and B? というように思います。また、"differnt A from B" というのは、 A is different from B. （AはBとは違う） という言い方で用いるように思います。

「これらの言葉はどう使い分けられますか？」 英語を勉強していると、よく似たような意味の単語や同じ意味の単語に出会います。そこで、今日も出会ったのですが、英語でなんて質問すればよいのか分からず、未解決のまま帰ってきてしまいました。 How different between A and B? この質問の仕方は知っているのですが、 今日は３つ程似たような単語が出てきて、betweenを使うのに抵抗が出てきて使えなかったのです。 そして、２つの時もちょっと 「どう使い分けるか」はこのbetweenを使った表現とは微妙に違う気がして、ちょっと説明しにくいときがあります。 お力お貸し頂けないでしょうか？ 宜しくお願い致します。
