どちらも間違った文章ではないと思います。 ただ、前者は「サッカーなのか野球なのか」どちら？という単なる問いかけに聞こえるのに対し、後者は「あなたの国では」サッカーと野球のどちらが人気があるのかを問いかけている文章という感じですね。 従って、「in your countyr」は強く読まれます。 （私の国ではサッカーが人気がありますが、）では、あなたの国ではどちらですか？という文章だと思います。

間違いではないでしょう。 Which is more popular ... soccer or baseball ... in your country? 問いかけの言葉を考え考え質問を発しているという感じ。 でも、文章として書くのなら、初めの方が自然な感じがします。

sport/sports（スポーツ）についておしえてください。 例えば、 「どんなスポーツが好きですか？」 「どんなスポーツがあなたの国で人気がありますか？」 という場合… What sport do you like ？ What sports do you like ？ What sport do you like the best ？ What sports do you like the best ？ What sport is popular in you country ？ What sports is popular in your country ？ What sports are popular in your country ？ どの表現が間違っているのか、それともどの表現でもいいのかわかりません。 問題集などだと、単数で使われている方が多いように感じます。 「スポーツ」は日本語的に発音するといつも複数形のような呼び方なので、余計に混乱してきます。 ｓをつける時とそうでないときの使い分けを、 出きるだけわかりやすく、理由を添えて教えてくださると助かります。 よろしくお願いします。

中学３年のdaiです。 もうすぐ公立受験を控えているのですが 英語で以前から理解できなかったところがあり 質問をします。 What sports are popular in your country? という文章を書かせる問題があったのですが、 私は What sport is popular in your country? と書きました。 この場合は私の文章はバツになるのでしょうか？ また、 一番好きなスポーツはなんですか？という英文の解答が What sport do you like the best? というのも何故単数形なのか納得がいきません。 稚拙な文章で申し訳ありませんが是非、回答を おねがいします。

授業でDriving is more difficult [because of・in Japan・in the United States・on・than・the hevy traffic・narrow streets]. 日本では狭い道路に交通が激しいため、自動車の運転はアメリカより難しい。 括弧内を並べ替えよという問題がありました。 正解はDriving is more difficult in Japan than in the United states because of the hevy traffic on narrow streets.ですが、 比較の対象を文末に置いた Driving is more difficult in Japan because of the heavy traffic on narrow streets than in United states. この文は文法的に間違いでしょうか？ 正解の方が、読みやすい文だとは思いますが、解説お願いいたします。
