英字新聞の経済面や英語の経済誌を日頃から読んでいれば、「average rating rising」の直後に「○○percent」が来れば、あれだなと、容易にわかります。私は読み慣れていないので、ちょっと迷いました。ちなみに、綴りは「percent」ですよね。

はじめまして。 「私は約３年間東京に住んでいます」 という文章があったとします、これを英訳する際に [I have lived in Tokyo about for three years.] [I have lived in Tokyo for about three years.] forとabout、２つの順番は文法的にどちらの英文が正しいのでしょうか？ それとも、どちらとも間違っており別の言い方があったりするのでしょうか？

How long can I keep these books out? How long have you been in Tokyo? という例文があり、前者は形容詞、後者は副詞のlongの例文として載っていました（ジーニアス英和辞典）が、違いが分かりません。 前者は I can keep these books out for two weeks. 後者は I have been in Tokyo for three years. のように答えることができ、どちら違いはないように思えるためです。 何が違うのでしょうか。
