下記の内容が意味が分からないです。分かる方おしえていただけますか？ your creative , aggressive and successful manner that you have grown your company on what your father started is a testament to him. I also encourage you that you are on a path that i know made him proud to be a father as he looked towards his legacy.

文法書を読んでいて疑問に思うことがありましたので、ご質問させて戴きます。 動名詞の意味上の主語についてですが、以下のような例文がありました。 I can really understand him(his) composing those kind of pieces. There is a strong possibility of his (him) helping us. 動名詞が他動詞や前置詞の目的語のときは所有格も用いるが、くだけた言い方では目的格がふつう。 と解説がなされておりました。 では Your father was proud of your being a doctor. という場合でしたら、やはり前置詞があるので、youを用いるよりyourを用いることの方がふつうということでしょうか？ またYour father was proud of you being a doctor.と、目的格をもちいても間違ってはいないということになりますか？ なんとなく"you being a doctor"は変な感じがするんですが、どうでしょう？ ご解答よろしくお願いします。
