この英文はどんな相手に対して書いたものだと思いますか？
この英文はメールの一部なのですが、どんな時にこのような文を使うかを教えていただけますか。 意味は分かるのですが、友達や家族に対してよく使う表現なのでしょうか？ どうぞ宜しくお願い致します。 Here is a big hug from ○○ for you and I hope you don't get too lonely.

ＨｕｇやＬｏｖｅなどの単語は同姓の友達同士でも使いますし、家族とかでも使いますよ。 よく家族に対してもＩ ｌｏｖｅ ｙｏｕって言いますから。 また、手紙やメールにＷｉｔｈ ｌｏｖｅみたいな感じで締めくくる人も多いですから。 この文を拝見すると異性の友達へというのも考えられますし、同姓の友達（例えば、遠く離れてホームシックにかかった友達に対してなど）、自分のことを寂しく思ってくれている家族などいろいろ考えられます。 この文だけではどんな相手か特定しにくいですねっ。

友達にでも家族でも使う表現だと思います。ハグは上手く言えませんが温かい感じですよね。だからあなたが寂しくなりませんように、ということでハグをあげるねと言っているのでは？

早速のご回答ありがとうございます。 そうですね、ハグは温かい感じがしますね。 ただ私が全く寂しくなるような状況ではなく、 そのようなことも話していないのに、 I hope you don't get too lonely. と書いてありちょっと不思議に思ったのです。

コンマとコロンだらけで全然読解できません・・・。 アドバイスください。 I want that dog,I want to pet and hug him,or there is interesting object:you should look at it too,or I'm scared,hold me and get away from here. という一文なのですが、まったくわかりません。この英文は何を言っているのでしょうか？ コロンを挟んでの2つの文が呼応しているというのはなんとなく思うのですが、何せ訳しても意味がめちゃくちゃです・・・。 最初のコンマに挟まれて2つの完全な文があるのもおかしいような気がします・・・。コンマで2つの完全な文はつなげないのではありませんか？ 自分なりに訳しましたが、こんな感じです・・・。 私はペットを飼い、抱きしめたい。私はあの犬が欲しい。もしくは興味深いものがあるのだ。要するに、あなたはそれをも見なければならない。もしくは、私はおびえ、私を捕まえ、ここから逃げ出す。 う～～ん、これは迷訳ですね・・・。 英語はすごく苦手です。 お手柔らかにお願いいたします(T-T)

Honestly, I do not see any financial benefits for CCC . to get involved in this DDD project. Unless you are seeing something here that I don’t. If you are going to produce the EEE in BBB and sell in BBB, you will not be using our factory to produce and we will not selling the goods here in the U.S.. I am not sure what kind of role you want me to play in this project. I don’t see myself getting involved into the negotiation of contract unless CCC. can directly benefit from the involvement. こんにちは。お世話になります。 英語初学者です。 英文を読んでいたら、 ‟This is fun, ”shouted nadim. ‟It is if you don't shout, ”said Mrs May. という英文が有り、 そのあと、ページを進めていくと ‟I hope the rain stops, ”said Mrs May. という描写が有りました。 なぜ、‟It is if you don't shout, ”のときも‟I hope the rain stops, ”のときも、 if やhopeの後の動詞の前にwill が付かないのでしょうか？ hopeの後ろにはwillが付くことが有る、と聞いたことが有りますが、 この場合、ある場合とない場合とではニュアンスが変わってくるのでしょうか？ どなたか、教えては下さいませんでしょうか？ 宜しくお願いいたします。

そうですね、聞くことのことではないと思ったのですが、 >I hope you don't get too lonely. が少し気になったのです。 私がそういった状況でないものですから。 でも大して親しくない人にも使う表現なのでしたら、 深く考えることはないですね。 ありがとうございました。
