自信はないですが必要ない感じがします。 参考にしてください。 それと長い文＝コンマを入れるという考えはしないほうが良いです。 逆に短い文に沢山のコンマが入る文も作れます。

It may be that we can best help own pupils by showing them that reading has many porpuses and can take many forms, that reading fiction is just one form and possibly the escapism that often accompanies it is merely one purpose. 少し長いですが、文章の構造さえ分かればOKです。 以前、この文章の構造と一部分の訳を教えてくださいと質問をさせていただきました。 回答してくださった中に、文法の構造が２つ種類がありまして、どちらが良いのか良く分からなかったので質問させてください。 １つめは、文中にあるカンマは「すなわち」と訳す。 It may be that.... ....one purpose.の間を２文に分けて考える。 もう１つは、 It may be that A, that B.という構文で、「Aといえるかもしれないし、Bといえるかもしれない。」というものでした。 どちらが訳としては自然でしょうか？ ご回答宜しくお願いします。

ある月刊誌で、次の日本語を英文にしてくださいというものがあり、 題目は、 父に、外国人との結婚を許してもらえるのは大変だった。しかし、ケビンを 気に入ってくれた母の協力のおかげで、最後には父を説得することができた。 とあり、 最優秀の訳が、 （前半は省略） But thanks to the help of my mother, who had liked him very much, I finally succeeded in persuading my mother. でした。 そして、他にもいくつかの訳があり、2つほど、上記の文に似ているが、 ～ my mother who ～とあり、つまり、who の手前にカンマがなく、 この場合に、題目の出題者が、赤で、カンマを挿入し、そこには、 「カンマがないと、複数いる母のうち、ケビンを好きな母が協力してくれた」 という意味になってしまいます。 との指摘がありました。 これが、どういう意味かがいまいちわかりません。 my mother とあるので、これで、ケビンの彼女の母親であることは 一目瞭然かと思うのですが、やはりカンマはいるのか？ということです。 このカンマは、関係代名詞の非制限用法か形容詞用法か？ また、「, who」をどのように置き換えると（または語を補う）わかりやすいのでしょうか。 motherは可算名詞なので、複数の母となると、mothersと記載されるのかと 思うのですが、どのように解決するとスッキリするか、教えていただけますか？

tooの前のカンマは必要でしょうか？ 手元の辞書（ジーニアス）では、 I am too. I'm ready too. I do too. は付いていなく、 Me (,) too. はどちらでも良く、 We have a cat, and a puppy, too. Bob, too, frequently interrupted rehearsals to give advice. は付いています。 最後のものがtoo frequently（あまりにもたびたび）の誤解を避けている理由は分かるのですが、それ以外の判断基準が分かりません。 いったい、tooの前にはカンマをつけるべきなのでしょうか。 単純化して、常に付けておけば無難でOKでしょうか。
