No.8 の toriyama さんとまったく同じ趣旨ですが、ご質問の例文と英英辞典を調べた結果を使って説明したいと思います。 (1) So do I. の場合、so = also, too, likewise (4) So I do. の場合、so = indeed, truely ご質問の例文に適用すると、次のようになります。 A: I get so annoyed watching TV these days. (1) B: I do, too. (= So do I.) (4) B: Indeed, I do. (= So I do.) 最初の A の発言は A のことを述べているので (1) は自然につながりますが、(4) ではうまくつながりません。もし A の発言が "You get annoyed watching TV these days, don't you?" であれば、(4) の "So I do." が正解になるかと思います。

仮定法の学習において今まで、特に意識せず主節とif節の時制を合わせたり、完了形でそろえて使っていました。 例）I would call Lisa if I had her number. I would have called Lisa if I'd had her number. しかし、文法書の仮定法のセクションで、There are many things I'd like to do if I had more time. という例文があり、仮定法の文で主節の動詞がareが使われ現在形になっていることに疑問を覚えました。この文を、 There are many things[ I'd like to do if I had more time]. とif節までmany thingsを修飾している節の一部だと考えてみるといいのではないかとも考えてみたのですが、インターネット検索で、 There's so many things I want to do if I had one normal day. といった文章がいくつか見つかり、上の考え方では解決はできないとわかりました。 仮定法の文において主節とif節の時制が一致しない場合とはどのようなときに起こる用法なのでしょうか？ 上手でない説明で申し訳ありません。 わかる方がいましたらご説明よろしくお願いします。

so＋形容詞＋a＋名詞 は、名詞は必ず単数形で複数形では用いられないようです。 質問なのですが、 １ 名詞は必ず可算名詞である必要がありますか？ There was so much dust that we couldn't see what was happening. という例文がありました。 ２ 名詞は必ず単数形だと思っていたら、 He made so many mistakes that he failed the exam. という例文がありました。ということは、名詞は必ず単数であるという説明は間違っているのではないでしょうか？
