英文会計からです。 $50,000 of cash paid for interset would be reported separately as supplementary information for a statement of cash flows using indirect method. 利息として支払った$50,000は間接法を用いると、キャッシュ・フロー計算上、補足情報として報告される。 訳もそうなんですが、supplementary informationをoperating activityでは だめなんでしょうか。 PS：会計で質問してたのですが、レスがないので引越してきました。

<<ということはこれは任意で企業の判断に任されるのでしょうか>> このコメントを読んで、もう一度考えてみました。 P/L上の当期(計上)利息とSCF上の当期(支払)利息は必ずしも一致しませんから、差額の調整が必要となるはずです。GMのSCFでは記載がありませんが、未払利息の増減に支払利息を加えることで対応しているはずだと思い至りました。であれば、金利を商売にしている銀行はどうかと思い、米国の大手銀行であるWells FargoのSCFを調べてみました。すると、記載がありました。つまり、利息が重要事項と判断されれば、それを計上する必要があり、企業の判断に委ねられるわけではないと思います。その意味で、前回の回答は正確さに欠け、ここで修正しますのでご了承ください。 Wells Fargo Annual Report 2004 (P67参照) Cash flows from operating activities: (in millions) Net increase (decrease) in accrued interest payable 47 ------ Supplemental disclosures of cash flow information: Cash paid during the year for: (paid) interest 3864 URL: http://tinyurl.com/cesvb

一般人とのことですが、どうしてこりゃプロの方みたいですね。 ＞キャッシュ・フロー計算書で計上されることはない。支払利息が追加情報として記載されていました。 ということはこれは任意で企業の判断に任されるのでしょうか。

訳はこんな感じかと思いますが・・・ 利息として支払った＄５０,０００は、別途補足情報として間接法を用いキャッシュフロー計算書に報告される。 > supplementary informationをoperating activityではだめなんでしょうか。 の質問の主旨がよくわかりません。 supplementary information（補足説明/情報）をstatement of cash flows （キャッシュフロー計算書）ではなく）operating activity（営業活動報告）で、代用出来るかということですか？ もし、そういうことであれば、後の質問は専門外なので、やはり「会計」の方で質問された方が良いのでは・・・
