and や or のある場合は「突進も興奮もボールの奪い合いもない」という感じなのに対して，コンマだけの場合は，「突進，興奮，ボールの奪い合いがない」という感じです。 通常，and や or でつながずに，コンマだけの場合は同格というか，言い換えになります。 しかし，rush, excitement, scramble for the ball が同一のものでなければ，言い換えではないとわかりますので，言い換えのように並んでいても，「も」が間にあるのと同じような意味になることは読む方で判断できるわけです。 これを省略と言えなくもないのでしょうが，全く同じものではないと思います。 なお，「～も～もない」というとき，and つなぐ場合と or でつなぐ場合があります。 I have no brothers and no sisters. I have no brothers or sisters. のように，no を繰り返す場合は and が普通でしょう。

色々調べたのですが、この英文がうまく訳せません。分る方いましたら訳を教えて下さいお願いします。これは自分の好きなタイプの人のはなしをしてるのだと思いますが・・・ someone that is afraid to go against the norms of life or do things because its right or know its right for them and understand that i will always be there for them no matter what.

for there is no such manはそんな人間はいないとの意味らしいですが、なぜthere の前にforをつけるのでしょうか？ 調べてみましたが、thereを主語としてあつかうのでfor there to be ~の形になり、there is 構文をto不定詞句にしたものとありましたが、上記の英文には当てはまらないような気がします。forをつけなくても there is no such manで文は成立すると思います。 どなたか知っている人がいたら教えていただけるとうれしいです。

NHK実践ビジネス英語2006年8月Lesson 10(2)のAlvarezさんの台詞で、” between seeming to react too little or too much”が、出てきます。比較しているのは、”between too much or too little”で、その前の”a fine line”に結び付いて”between”が続いていると思いますが、何故、”between A and B”とならなかったのですか？ 下記のWeb検索では、“between A or B”は正しくないといってる気がするのですが、文法的には正しくないが、実際には使われることがある事例といて挙げられているのでしょうか？ https://forum.wordreference.com/threads/between-a-or-and-b.797513/ Alvarez: Effective counterattacks require walking a fine line between seeming to react too little or too much.
