I get it! - このitは何を受けているのでしょうか
Faith and courage go together, and the stronger the faith, the greater the courage. Where there is courage without a strong faith, as there often is , it cannot survive disaster. と言う文のitですが、何を受けているのか分かりません。 従属節を見ると、courageが主語なので、itはcourageを受けていると考えればよいのでしょうか。 しかし、そうなると、「信念は災害を生き延びることは出来ないはずだ」となって、おかしな日本語になってしまいます。
