Wouldの使い方について
Let's ask Greg if he'd be interested in going out with us. Gregにも僕たちと一緒に行くことに興味があるか聞いてみようよ。 この「would」は推量、意思、仮定法など、どのような意味を表現するために使われているのでしょうか？ また、「would」が無い場合、ある場合と比較してどのようなニュアンスの違いが出ますか？ Let's ask Greg if he is interested in going out with us.

ある一定以上の意志がかかっている状態を表すのにWouldを用いる例があります。 Generals tried to convince Hiter to remain defensive posture, but he would attack Kursk. 「将軍たちは防御態勢を維持するようヒトラーを説得しようとしたが、彼はクルクスを攻撃した」 「あえて～する」dare to ほどに強くない、「あえて」だと思います。 訳にはならないレベルのニュアンスでの「意志を持ってする」の意味だと思います。上記の文章の場合if he was interested in でも全然問題ないと思います。

When George's films would start, they'd be very professional, and you'd wonder what in hell he was doing in college. 「ジョージの映画が始まると、それらはとてもプロらしいものだったので、彼はいったい大学で何をやっているのだろうと、だれもが不思議に思ったものです。」 would は過去の習慣などを表すwould のようですが、whenの節のwould はどう考えればよいのでしょうか。

During our sophomore year, Matt developed a drinking problem. In our college environment, it was at first difficult to tell if he was truly an alcoholic or … simply in college. Let's speak in English. って身近の日本人がこの言葉を使ってるんですが 文法的には正確だけれども非常に奇妙に見えます。 Let us speak in English. なら、まだ自分の語感的に許容できるんですが どう思いますか? 本では、 お互いに包み隠ししないことにしようじゃないか Let us be frank with each other 怒るのはよそう Let's not get angry なんていう例文あるので、たぶん可能だと思いますが

こんにちは。 いくら勉強してもWouldの使い方がいまいちわかりません、、、、。 Would you like～？I would like～.の形は丁寧な言い方というのはわかるのですが、その他の I would say no. He wouldn't be with me when I need. I wouldn't rush into this if I were you. If you want to see hem,he would be delighted. It would rain when I have a date. などの文で、どうしてwillじゃなくてwowuldを使うのか？ どうしてここにwouldが来るのか？ わかりません＞＜ そして、wouldには全部で何個の意味があるのでしょうか？？ 例文つきで教えて頂けたら嬉しいです：） そして、Couldの用法についてもついでに教えて頂けたら助かります！ 読んでくれてありがとうございました！
