訳し方を教えてください
Rooms were so bustling that it was possible to order a pot of tea, then sneak out a home-made bun to have with it. 「こういう場所のカフェはひとの出入りが激しいので、紅茶を一杯とそこで焼いている菓子パンひとつで、そそくさとすませること ... ] to have with it.の訳し方がわかりません。おそらくitはa home-made bun を指してしると思うのですが・・・。 よろしくお願いします。

以下のとおりお答えします。 ＞Rooms were so bustling that it was possible to order a pot of tea, then sneak out a home-made bun to have with it. ⇒（訳文） 「部屋はとても賑やかだったので、紅茶一杯を注文し、それからその紅茶と一緒に食べる（ための）自家製のパンをこっそりと持ち出すことができました。」 ＞to have with it.の訳し方がわかりません。おそらくitはa home-made bun を指してしると思うのですが・・・。 ⇒上の訳文で分かるとおり、to have with it.のitは、a home-made bunでなく、a pot of teaを指しています。 to have with it.の訳は、「それ（紅茶）と一緒に飲食するための（自家製のパン）」となります。

紅茶と一緒に飲食する、という共にという言い方です。 紅茶もカップじゃなくてポットなんですよね、トレイに乗せてパンとカップも一緒にそそくさと混み合うカフェの行列から出て行く姿を想像してください。 パンも菓子パンではなさそうです。手作りのバンといえば付け合わせの丸いパンです。

その部屋は人の出入りが激しいので、紅茶一杯の金を払うでけで、（誰にも気づかれずに、紅茶と）一緒に食べる手作りの菓子パンをこっそり盗み出すこともできた。

My husband bought his parents' home almost 20 years ago. Unfortunately, he is attached to the decaying belongings left by his parents and other relatives that lived in the house. He promised me before I moved in that we would start clearing out the house and make the overdue and necessary renovations. Add lemon flavor to the tea. 紅茶にレモンの風味を加えてください。 という一文ですが、add A to BでBにAを加えるという意味で、teaは紅茶、 lemon flavorはレモンの風味という意味でいいのでしょうか。 また、lemon's flavorとなっていないのはなぜかわかりません。

あまり自信がないので、どなたか見ていただけると幸いです。 宜しくお願いいたします。 ところどころ分からないところがあったので、 直訳や抜けているところもあります、、 ** 紅茶（の葉）の中にミルクを入れるのか、 ミルクの中に紅茶（の葉）を入れるのかがある女性が言ったということで、 こんな感じの内容を話し合っているような場面で、以下の英文がきます （1） He began to outline an experiment in which the lady who insisted there was a difference would be presented with a sequence of cups of tea, in some of which the milk had been poured into the tea and in others of which the tea had been poured into the milk. 「彼は・・・違いはあったと言ったその女性の、ある実験について述べ始めた。」 （すみません、would be presented with・・・のところの訳出に困りできません。 in some of～と、in others of～は ・・・な人もいれば、～な人もいる、と、「人」で訳せばよかったんでしょうか。 続いて、段落が2つ変わり、 その女性が言ったことについて、 重要で科学的な利点はないんじゃないか、と皆さん嘲笑っているようです。 （この段落では見たところマイナスイメージのことしか言っていません。） （2） The fun would be in finding a way to determine if she was right ,and, under the direction of the man with the Vandyke beard, they began to discuss how they might make that determination 「彼女が正しかったかどうかふざけているだろうし、また顎ひげ男（？）の指図のもとで、彼らはどのようにしてその決断をするかについて議論し始めた。」 そして、また段落が2つ変わったところで the man with the Vandyke beardという人がある本の著者で、 その中で紅茶の味の違いを見分ける方法にはいろいろある、と言っているような感じです。 （3） The problem in designing the experiment is that, if she is given a single cup of tea, she has a 50 percent chance of guessing correctly which infusion was used, even if she cannot tell the difference.
